Abstract

Toptical compsns. contain a cosmetic vehicle and opt. additives. Oral compsns. may also contain vitamins and minerals. ADVANTAGE - The combination has a synergistic effect.

The invention relates to a preparation for promoting hair growth, which has an active substance composition containing medicinal herb drugs, the active substance composition contains nettle drug.

Attempts to correct hair loss and baldness have been carried out for a long time. Numerous agents have been developed that have been successful in certain cases. Hair loss is a congenital anomaly only in very rare cases, the cause of which is mostly due to an aging process, harmful effects or an illness. For this reason, symptomatic treatment is inadequate for the permanent remedy of hair loss; permanent improvement can only be achieved by eliminating the causes. If the hair sheaths die, the baldness is of a permanent nature and is incurable at the current state of science.

In many cases the hair bulbs do not die, e.g. in the most common alopecia, in which one or more bald spots develop. The cause of this disease can e.g. Lack of iron, zinc, trace elements. Reversible alopecia can also include diffuse hair loss, which is caused by acute illnesses, radiation, medication, chemicals, but most often caused by a lack of vitamins.

Many remedies are known for remedying the different types of hair loss. DE-PS 3 417 136 recommends lubricating an aqueous solution of estrogen, adrenal hormone and riboflavin on the bald scalp. The disadvantage of this remedy is that the estrogen is carcinogenic in certain cases. DE-PS 3 118 882 recommends a mixture of garlic extract and amino acid as hair growth promoting agent. Its disadvantage is that it is only suitable for curing alopecia areata.

A common property of the previously known hair loss preparations is that they mostly have a selective effect, that is to say they are only suitable for the symptomatic treatment of one or two diseases. If the treatment were to take place under medical supervision, the doctor could of course choose the appropriate remedy; With cosmetic preparations, however, it is important to note that the customer usually selects the agent to be used without researching the cause of his hair loss. From the above emerged the desire to develop such an agent for preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth, which is suitable for the symptomatic treatment of hair loss caused by more diseases than previously.

The aim of the invention is to remedy the shortcomings of the previously known agents and to develop a hair-stimulating preparation with such a “broad spectrum”, which is used to slow down the course of the irreversible alopecia seborrhoica! and for the symptomatic treatment of numerous causes of reversible alopecia areata and alopecia symptomatica.

The idea of the invention is based on the knowledge that if you use nettle, pansy herb and chicken intestine drugs, as well as other supplements that increase their effect, you get - thanks to their synergetic effect - a cheaper agent than before. The idea of the invention also includes making the preparation suitable for simultaneous external and internal treatment.

In accordance with the objective, the preparation according to the invention for promoting hair growth, which has an active ingredient composition containing hay herb drugs, the active ingredient composition contains nettle drug, such that the active ingredient composition contains pansy herb drug and chicken intestine drug.

Another peculiarity of the preparation according to the invention is that the active substance composition contains horsetail herb drug and / or peppermint drug.

In one of the variants, the active ingredient composition contains gypsophila drug and / or burdock root drug and / or birch leaf drug and / or rosemary drug and / or nut leaf drug and / or willow bark drug and / or hop drug and / or lavender flower drug. The active ingredient composition contains paprika drug and / or horseradish drug and / or garlic drug and / or onion drug.

It can also be characteristic that it contains carriers suitable for cosmetics and optionally auxiliary substances. It can also be characteristic that the preparation for oral ingestion contains suitable nutritional supplements, in particular vitamin and mineral salt mixtures.

The preparation according to the invention for promoting hair growth has numerous advantages. Thanks to the synergistic effect of the composition, the preparation can be used more successfully than the previous preparations for the treatment and prevention of hair loss. The patient suffering from hair loss, baldness can treat himself with more chance of success than before. The preparation is suitable for the treatment of all previously known reversible types of hair loss and prevents its conversion into irreversible baldness.

Furthermore, we present the preparation according to the invention in more detail based on individual exemplary embodiments. The composition can contain the following active ingredients:

2. Pansy herb (Violae tricoloris herba) has not been used to treat hair loss, but according to our experiments it has an excellent effect, probably because of its high zinc content and the favorable composition of its salicylic acid content.

3. Chicken intestine (Stellaria media) has not been used to treat hair loss. According to the results of our investigations, it has a hair growth-promoting effect, which is similar to that of cortisone, but is milder and has no side effects.

4. Horsetail herb (Equiseti herba) has not been used to treat hair loss. Has a high mineral content and has a regenerating effect on the scalp. Increases the synergetic effect of the obligatory active ingredients.

6. Gypsophila (Saponariae albae radix) is cheap because of its high saponin content.

9. Rosemary (Rosmarini folium) is known for its hair loss-preventing effects.

10. Nut leaves (Junglandis folium) are a well-known hair care drug. Has a disinfectant, contracting and fungicidal effect.

11. Willow bark (Salicis cortex) contains salicylic, has disinfectant and fungicidal effects.

12. Hoiunder flowers (Sambuci flos) are favorable because of their vitamin A content, flavonoid and saponin content.

13. Licorice root (Liquiritiae rhizoma et radix) has an antibacterial and virus-preventing effect, its saponin content is favorable.

14. Hop cones (Lupuli strobolus) is a well-known hair care product.

15. Lavender (Lavandulae flos) is beneficial because of its stimulating and wound healing effects.

16. Paprika (Capsici fructus) is a well-known active ingredient in hair lotions, causes local blood filling, has a stimulating effect.

17. Horseradish (Armoracia lapathifolia) has a stimulating effect.

18. Garlic (Allium sativum) has a stimulating effect on the one hand, and on the other hand has an antibacterial, antiviral effect. Is also cheap because of its sulfur content.

19. Onion (Allium cepa) is a well-known stimulating agent that promotes hair growth.

The obligatory active ingredients are used in the same way as for the external, and also for the internal treatment. Externally we use hair tonic and champagne in the first row, internally capsules are needed. In the case of hair tonic, it is advisable to supplement the obligatory active ingredients with any active ingredients with a stimulating effect. In the case of capsules, it is advisable to add those vitamins and mineral salts to the obligatory active ingredients, the lack of which can cause hair loss.

We conveniently proceed as follows when producing hair tonic. The medicinal herbs to be used are cleaned of impurities. Dried drugs are used, which are dismembered and soaked according to the Hungarian Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Hg.VII., 1969. Budapest). Each drug is treated separately. 10 g of drug are poured with 50 g of 30% by mass (hereinafter%) isopropyl alcohol diluted with distilled water. The mixture is shaken or stirred from time to time in a well-closed vessel, kept at room temperature for 6-8 days, then filtered.

The liquid phase obtained is put aside, the semi-dry drug is put back into its container and poured with 50 g of 70% ethyl alcohol. The mixture is treated similarly and for as long as the previous soaking. The liquid phase is separated from the dry drug residue by spinning or pressing. The liquid phase obtained in this way is combined with the previously obtained liquid phase; this way we get 10% extracts from the individual drugs (30% isopropyl alcohol and 70% ethyl alcohol).

The active ingredient of the hair tonic is put together from the finished, reproducible extracts of proven quality. We manufacture the active ingredient composition from the extract series by mixing in the same or different proportions. On the one hand, the extracts are carriers of new effects; on the other hand, their composition has a multi-effect in comparison with the known additive effects; one is e.g. the regeneration ability of the onion. The proportions are determined according to the requirements. For general cosmetic purposes, the active ingredients used must be mixed in the same ratio.

Based on our experimental experience, a hair tonic with the broadest spectrum of activity can be produced with a composition according to Example No. 1. to enlarge those extracts that cause local blood filling. With brown hair, the amount of nut leaf drug can be increased, with blonde or graying hair, it is advantageous to increase the amount of elderflower drug or to use chamomile drug. The active ingredient of the hair tonic is mixed with excipients e.g. with lactic acid, which protects the acid mantle of the scalp, with propylene glycol with a disinfecting and emulsifying effect and with fragrances. The carrier of the hair tonic - apart from the alcohol content of the extract - is usually 50% ethyl alcohol. In the following examples No. 1 -3. we make known the recipe of the hair tonic prepared according to the above.

We make the champagne using the procedure below, for example. The semi-dry drug residue put away in the manufacture of hair tonic is ground and homogenized. The active ingredient thus obtained - the vegetable composition of which is expediently the same as the composition of the active ingredient in the hair tonic - is supplemented in a known manner with the carriers and auxiliaries customary in the manufacture of shampoo. In another exemplary method, the active ingredient is obtained directly from the drugs in a known manner.

During the treatment, the hair tonic is dripped onto the hair or bald scalp every other day and massaged into the scalp for a few minutes. Treatment with shampun is repeated twice a week at the beginning and once a week later.

The preparation suitable for oral ingestion can be conveniently filled into capsules. The cleaned, disinfected medicinal herb drug is ground, supplemented with a vitamin and mineral salt mixture and then homogenized. The active ingredient composition containing medicinal herb drug can also be produced by extraction and evaporation. In the examples 4-5. we list the favorable composition of the preparation:

The advantageous can of the preparations according to Example 4.-5. for adults is 250 mg. In addition to hair loss, the preparation according to Example 4 can also be expediently administered to people who are in poor health. The preparation according to Example 5 can be given in the case of general alopecia areata. We tested the effect of the preparation on 103 people during a 3-month course, the control group consisted of 27 people. During treatment, we noticed a significant increase in hair density in 80% of the people and less in 12%, but the condition of the treated people also accelerated in them. No improvement was found in the control group.

The preparation according to the invention can mainly be used for the treatment of hair loss and baldness.
