Abstract

The watch mechanism has a substantial source of energy consisting of two barrel springs (1,2) mounted in series. In order to allow indication of the amount of stored energy, each spring is equipped with a differential (9) having one of the mobile input elements connected to the respective spring shaft, and the other mobile input shaft connected to the second spring shaft. The two mobile input elements (29) are coupled together to the toothed exterior of the barrel (1) which is linked to the input wheel (10) of the final drive train of the mechanism.
