Abstract
The lift platform has a scissors type mechanism forming part of an integrated loading bridge, with the arms of the scissors each being secured to an interior frame forming the bridge. The free ends of the arms have wheels connected which support the platform as the arms move. The frame supports on one side landing (5) joints which are fixed to the internal end of one arm of the scissors mechanism. The angular movement of the loading bridge is controlled by a device secured to the upper ends of at least one arm of the scissors to permit extension and retraction of the arms. the bridge rests on the wheels (8) at its end positions.
Description
Scissor lifts are a popular way to load goods from the ground at the level of a truck or from a quay at the level of a truck or even from a floor to a higher or lower level.
However, it is only the difference in vertical level which is thus overcome.
On the other hand there are loading bridges which are anchored in the quay and whose rear part always remains at the same level as the quay, but which make an angular movement around their rear axis to adapt to the level of a truck, while advancing a telescopic part (9) which then arises on the platform of the truck.
To combine these two properties - vertical compensation, advancement and horizontal connection with angular inclination, combined machines were designed, i.e. the superimposition of a loading bridge on a platform, the first quality of which is to compensate both for the differences in level between quay and truck and to land on it by creating a bridge by tilting on the one hand , and on the other hand, to be able to make the entire vertical stroke between quay and ground to, for example, allow an elevator or containers to descend from the quay to the ground.
The disadvantage of these latter machines is their excessive construction height because they simply add the construction height of the platform to that of the loading bridge. In addition, the high cost of these constructions considerably limits their use.
Other constructions provide the loading bridge between the scissor system of the platform, which has the additional negative effect of greatly reducing the passage width on the loading bridge.
The platform defined in the claims overcomes these disadvantages.
The accompanying drawings illustrate by way of example an embodiment of the invention, in which:
Fig. 1 shows the machine in its rest position.
Fig. 2 shows the machine in the working position placed on a truck higher than the platform.
Fig. 3 shows the machine in working position, but placed on a truck lower than the quay. The present invention consists of a lower frame (1), a lifting platform type knee system (2), and the upper part of a loading bridge (3). The vertical movement - platform / ground - called stroke is then done by the knee lever system (2) actuated by hydraulic cylinders (4).
The upper part of the loading bridge (3) is articulated at the fixed points of the scissors (5) to allow the angular movement of the bridge necessary to adapt to the height of the truck or wagon while always remaining with its rear part at the level from the platform (6). The angular movement of the loading bridge (3) is achieved by an additional device (7) which lengthens or shortens as necessary the length of the scissors (2) from the end where the rollers (8) are arranged, which has the effect that the loading bridge (3) inclines and places its front part (9) on the truck (10).
Fig. 4 shows the possible execution of a training aggregate.
The electro-hydraulic unit (11) necessary for the operation of the assembly is composed of an electric motor (12), a hydraulic pump (13), an oil tank (14), valves overload (15), flow control valves (16), distribution valves (17) and seat valves (18) to ensure a fixed level position.
Fig. 5 shows a possible control panel for such a machine. The electrical device (19) provides control by push-button (20) of the various movements, while ensuring the interlocks necessary to avoid false operations. This device also allows fully automatic control, for example by means of an integrated electronic circuit.
