In Fig.
The invention relates to a return machine for packaging, such as Bottles, according to claim 1.
Bottle return machines are known from the prior art, into which the return bottle is inserted through an entry opening, after which the conveyor of the machine starts and the returned bottle for identification in an identification device and then with the belt e.g. transported to a storage table.
When entering the return packaging, such as a bottle, into the inlet opening, the entry of the bottle into the inlet opening is e.g. perceived by a photocell light beam sensing arrangement. The device detects the interruption of the light beam when the bottle gets in the way of the light beam, and said perception information is received by the central unit which, based on the perception information, detects the conveyor, e.g. Belt conveyor that starts the device that transports the packaging on the belt. The packaging, e.g. Bottle, is conveyed to the identification station which is either from a scanner device or e.g. a matrix camera can exist.
With the help of the identification station, the bottle type is identified and, based on the identification data, the return is given a deposit or a receipt for the returned product. With camera identification, the identification takes place within the device in a dark room. To prevent light from entering the room, the bottle transport path in the device arrangement is designed like a labyrinth. The path first has a wall inclined to the direction of travel of the conveyor and optionally also on the other side of the transport path behind the first wall a second inclined wall. The arrangement creates a closed identification space and ensures that the return packaging is no longer accessible after the packaging has been entered into the device.
Another purpose of the sloping wall is to create a distance between two bottles entered one after the other. The packaging, e.g. Bottle slides along the wall. The friction between the wall and the packaging gives the return bottle a certain delay on the wall surface, as a result of which the packaging moving along the wall surface moves at a lower speed than the packaging detaching from the wall. In this way, there is a sufficient distance between the two successive packages for identification in the identification station. In known bottle return machines of the type described above, the stopping of plastic bottles was a problem.
Between the bottle entry point and the exit point of the device, an air tunnel is formed within the device, which has a labyrinth-shaped wall construction in a bottle returning machine of the type described above. This forms turbulence points in the return path with regard to the air flow. The air flow passing through the path has different speed gradients at different points along the path. The said speed differences generate different force components on the return bottle at various points on the bottle. As a result, a tilting moment is easily directed onto the bottle, particularly in the case of a light plastic bottle.
In order to ensure that the light plastic return bottle stops as much as possible, an automatic return device is presented in the present application in which the airway between the input station and the outlet station is more uniform with regard to the distribution of the air flow.
According to the invention, a more uniform air flow is formed over the entire width of the path, both in the width and in the height of the path, by using perforated wall parts which let the air flow pass. At least the first wall of the path is perforated, so that the air flow can flow freely through the perforation to the other side of the wall and further out of the outlet end piece of the device. The air flow can be further stabilized by perforating the sloping wall on the other side of the path. The laminarity of the air flow can be increased by perforating part or all of the walls in the direction of travel of the conveyor.
What is characteristic of the automatic return device according to the invention is what is said in the claims.
The invention is described in detail below with reference to some exemplary embodiments shown in the figures in the accompanying drawing, to the details of which the invention is not limited, however.
In Fig. 1, the return machine according to the invention is shown in perspective.
In Fig. 2, the construction and function of the return device for packaging according to the invention are shown schematically as a block diagram.
FIG. 3 shows the construction of the packaging identification device belonging to the packaging return device according to FIG. 2 schematically and as a side view.
In Fig. 4 the system of Fig. 3 is seen from above.
5 shows the formation of the line image of a packaging to be identified with the identification device according to FIGS. 3 and 4.
In Fig.
6, the solution according to the invention is shown in perspective.
7A shows a system from the prior art and the flow turbulences occurring therein.
The solution according to FIG. 6 is shown in FIG. 7B and the flow arrows and the flow velocities are entered. 7A and 7B lie essentially on the section line I-I of FIG. 1.
8A shows an embodiment of the invention in which the holes of the plate provided with through openings have the cross-sectional shape of a square.
Figure 8B shows an embodiment in which the holes of the through-hole plate have the cross-sectional shape of elongated slots extending from one edge to the other edge of the plate.
In Fig. 1 the return machine is shown in perspective. The automat according to FIG. 1 has a conveyor 11 of the input opening A for return packaging, at the front end an acknowledgment key C and an output opening D for the receipt or the deposit. The return packaging is placed on the conveyor in the input opening A and the photocell device 10a, 10b detects the entry of the return bottle in the input opening, whereby the conveyor 11 starts and the packaging is conveyed further in the conveying direction L1 with the conveyor. The return packaging is transported in the device to the identification station F, e.g. for identification by a line camera.
The receiving device for bottles, cans and similar packaging shown as an example in FIG. 2 and corresponding to the embodiment according to the invention includes a transport device 11 for transporting return packaging P, an identification device 2 with a data processing unit 3 for identifying and approving packaging of certain shapes, and a registration device 4 to register the approved packaging. The transport device 11 can e.g. consist of one or more belt conveyors, a rotating plate conveyor or generally any conveyor suitable for the transport of packaging.
The conveyor can be designed in such a way that it transports the packaging in the horizontal and / or possibly vertical direction, but in connection with the receiving device for return packaging according to the invention, horizontal transport is considered the most expedient type.
The identification device 2 preferably consists of a data processing unit 3 with a storage unit 8 and a registration unit 4. The data processing unit 3 is therefore provided with a file of permissible packaging forms, i.e. Data of permitted packaging types can be entered into the file in order to compare the information available from the packaging types to be tested with the corresponding information of the permitted packaging types. The registration device registers the number of pieces, possibly the sizes of the approved packaging and / or the amount of money to be credited or disbursed.
3-4, an identification device 2 is shown in the form of a schematic diagram, which mainly includes a stationary lighting device 5 for illuminating the package P, a detector 6 for checking the package and a conveyor 11 which transports the package past the detector. The named detector is arranged in such a way that it currently checks the packaging in line-shaped pieces at intervals, while the bottle is transported by the conveyor 11 in front of the detector in such a way that the line-shaped test points provide information e.g. give a bottle at least over the shape of the neck and the top of the bottle, i.e. the detector is designed to take a so-called line image of the bottle.
5, the detector 6 thus records line images at intervals from the packaging, while the conveyor 11 transports the packaging in front of the detector. The line pictures can be taken at desired intervals, i.e. the line density of the image can be adjusted as desired based on the accuracy of the information desired. The detector 6 converts the line image information obtained into electrical pulses, which are transmitted in a known manner according to FIG. 2 into the data processing unit.
When identifying the bottle, it is not absolutely necessary to take a picture of the entire bottle, in general the upper bottle part P min according to FIG. 5 is sufficient, the characteristic features of the bottle types and models being best derived from the upper bottle part. The lower part of the bottle P min min is expediently not taken up.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, a conventional line camera is used as the detector 6, which is designed to record the bottle moving past in the lateral direction in front of the camera perpendicular to the direction of the camera lens in the region of the upper neck part in the form of vertical line images with intervals of 1 mm. The identification device is programmed to measure the bottle height. If necessary, the detector 6 can be designed to take horizontal images of the bottle, the conveyor 11 being suitably arranged in such a way that it conveys the bottle in the vertical direction in order to pick up the bottle at the desired height.
By using a line camera as detector 6 e.g. achieved a number of advantages compared to a laser-based identification device. First of all, the line camera is much cheaper than a laser device from the purchase price. The line camera generally does not require nearly as much maintenance as a laser device. The line camera is reliable in function and construction, while withstanding vibration and other external mechanical loads. The line camera can e.g. consist of a so-called CCD camera (Charged Coupled Device) or a so-called photo diode camera (Self Scanning Array).
Furthermore, the line camera can be easily connected to a data processing unit, and the information provided by the line camera, i.e. The electrical signal series is primarily suitable as such for use in the data processing unit. The line camera can also be regulated and the scanning speed can easily be time-controlled with regard to the recording interval.
6, the air tunnel construction according to the invention located within the device is shown in perspective. The solution according to the invention is illustrated in FIG. 6. The conveyor 11 of the illustrated embodiment is a belt conveyor which consists of a conveyor belt 11b which is guided as a closed loop around deflection rollers 11a1, 11a2. The deflection rollers 11a1, 11a2 are preferably designed such that the one roller 11a1 has a drive, i.e. e.g. consists of a drum motor. The system has, in the transport direction of the conveyor 11, a first wall 12a1 which extends at an angle alpha in the transport direction L1 and to the central axis X of the conveyor and extends on the conveyor train.
On the other side of the conveyor path V there is a wall 12a2, which extends obliquely to the direction L1 and extends onto the conveyor train, which has an extension wall 12a2 min, which essentially runs in the transport direction L1. The conveyor path V further extends in the direction of movement, i.e. Direction of transport (L1) of the conveyor belt 11b seen, on the left side of the path in the direction (L1) of the conveyor extending walls 12a3. 6, all walls 12a1-12a3 are perforated. The perforation percentage is expediently in the range 50-70%, and preferably 60%, i.e. the flow cross-sectional area of the holes makes up more than half of the entire wall surface, with holes f1, f2, f3 ... penetrating it. The holes f1, f2, f3 ... are preferably square holes in the form, the side length of which is in the range 5-15 mm.
The holes can also have a round cross-section, the diameter of the DIAMETER being in the range 5-15 mm. It is essential for the perforation that it is distributed evenly over the entire panel area. The holes serve as through-openings at all, which allow the wall to let the air flow through, and they are evenly distributed over the wall over the entire width and essentially also in height. Thus, e.g. the wall 12a1 has through holes which allow the air flow from the entrance side of the conveyor to flow through the wall 12a1 to the exit side of the conveyor located on the other side of the wall 12a1 and continue to flow out through the exit opening B.
In the prior art solution shown in FIG. 7A, strong turbulence occurs at two points. The figure shows the different speed values of the air flow occurring at the different widths of the air tunnel or conveyor path V.
7B shows a construction perforated according to the invention, with which a relatively uniform velocity distribution of the continuous air flow is achieved and in which the occurrence of strong turbulence in the aforementioned points near the corner points of the conveyor path V is avoided in particular.
The use of perforated plates in the wall constructions thus creates a more uniform air flow pattern. A more even speed profile is achieved in the transverse and vertical directions of the entire conveyor path. The speed peaks encountered in the prior art solutions can be avoided and, at the same time, the air flow rate level can be lowered on average. The perforation according to the invention also has the effect that the air flow also reaches the bottle located on the second wall on both sides, so that no tilting moment is directed at the bottle. The air flow through the wall also holds the bottle better to the wall construction, which helps the bottle to stop.
Experiments have shown that the perforated wall construction has an advantageous effect both in the flow according to FIGS. 7A and 7B in the transport direction of the conveyor and in the opposite direction. The perforation has a balancing effect on the air flow both in suction and in the air tunnel.
An embodiment of the plate 12a1 with through openings f1, f2 ... is shown in FIG. 8A. In the embodiment according to FIG. 8A, the holes are square cross sections.
FIG. 8B shows an embodiment according to the invention in which the wall 12a1 has through openings which consist of elongated gaps. In the figure, the columns f1, f2 ... in the wall 12a1 run in the vertical direction. However, they can also run horizontally or horizontally and vertically in the wall 12a1. The wall 12a1 can e.g. 12a1 min and 12a2 min are formed from blind-like partial walls, a gap f1, f2 ... being left between the adjacent partial walls for the air flow. The partial walls 12a1 min, 12a2 min ... are e.g. connected with side frame b to a construction or at all with connecting parts that run over the part walls and connect them together to form a construction.
