Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine feuerhemmende Sandwichplatte, wie sie im Oberbegriff des unabhängigen Patentanspruchs 1 definiert ist.
Feuerhemmende Platten werden beispielsweise als Boden- oder Wandplatten in Zug- oder Tramwagons eingesetzt, wobei unterschiedliche Plattenkonstruktionen bekannt sind. Insbesondere an Bodenplatten werden verschiedene Anforderungen wie gute Feuerhemmung, hohe Druckfestigkeit und Stabilität, niedriges Gewicht und Kostengünstigkeit gestellt, welche von herkömmlichen Platten in ihrer Kombination nur unzureichend erfüllt werden.
Feuerhemmende, mehrlagige, abgesperrte, d.h. in der Faserrichtung sich kreuzende Holzplatten beispielsweise sind im Normalfall ausreichend druckfest, aber auch relativ schwer.
Anderseits existieren auch so genannte Sandwichplatten, die sich aus Lagen verschiedener Materialien zusammensetzen. Zwischen zwei Deckplatten ist zur Gewichtseinsparung ein wesentlich leichterer Kern angeordnet. Die bekannten Sandwichplatten sind entweder nicht ausreichend druckfest und/oder nicht rundherum feuerhemmend oder weisen einen feuerhemmenden, druckfesten Kern auf, der relativ teuer ist.
Angesichts der Nachteile der bisher bekannten, oben beschriebenen feuerhemmenden Platten liegt der Erfindung die folgende Aufgabe zu Grunde. Zu schaffen ist eine feuerhemmende Platte der eingangs erwähnten Art, die gleichzeitig eine gute Feuerhemmung, eine hohe Druckfestigkeit und Stabilität und ein niedriges Gewicht aufweist und zudem kostengünstig ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die erfindungsgemässe feuerhemmende Sandwichplatte gelöst, wie sie im unabhängigen Patentanspruch 1 definiert ist. Bevorzugte Ausführungsvarianten ergeben sich aus den abhängigen Patentansprüchen.
Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass bei einer feuerhemmenden Sandwichplatte mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Deckplatte, zwischen denen ein im Vergleich zu den Deckplatten leichterer Kern angeordnet ist, die Deckplatten jeweils mindestens drei miteinander verleimte, abgesperrte Holzlagen aufweisen und feuerhemmend ausgebildet sind und der Kern von feuerhemmendem Material umschlossen ist.
Dadurch, dass der Kern von feuerhemmendem Material umschlossen ist, kann darauf verzichtet werden, ihn feuerfest auszubilden. Er kann so je nach gewählter Variante kostengünstiger und/oder mit geringerem Gewicht hergestellt werden. Dass die Deckplatten mindestens drei verleimte, abgesperrte Holzlagen umfassen, stabilisiert die Sandwichplatte und macht sie im Vergleich zu Metallplatten geräuschdämmend.
Mit Vorteil weist der Kern eine Dichte von maximal 300 kg/m<3>, vorzugsweise maximal 160 kg/m<3> und in senkrechter Richtung zu den Deckplatten einen E-Modul von mindestens 1000 N/mm<2>, vorzugsweise mindestens 4000 N/mm<2> auf. Er besteht zu diesem Zweck beispielsweise aus Balsaholz, aus einem Schaum, der z.B. Polyetherimid, Polyurethan oder PVC beinhaltet, oder aus einer Wabenplatte, z.B. aus Aluminium oder Aramid. Auf diese Weise kann eine hohe Druckfestigkeit bei geringem Gewicht erreicht werden.
Bei einem bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel ist zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Deckplatte um den Kern herum eine Randleiste angeordnet, die mindestens drei miteinander verleimte Holzlagen aufweist und feuerhemmend ausgebildet ist, wobei die Randleiste vorzugsweise mit den beiden Deckplatten verleimt ist. Die ganze Sandwichplatte setzt sich so im Wesentlichen nur aus verleimten Holzlagen und dem Kern zusammen.
Die feuerhemmende Wirkung der Deckplatten und der Randleiste wird vorzugsweise durch Verwendung eines feuerhemmenden Leims, insbesondere Phenolharzleims, erzeugt, wobei hierzu beispielsweise der Leimflotte anorganische, nichtkorrosive Salze zugegeben werden. Alternativ könnten auch die Holzlagen geeignet behandelt werden.
Im Folgenden wird die erfindungsgemässe feuerhemmende Sandwichplatte unter Bezugnahme auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels detaillierter beschrieben. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemässen feuerhemmenden Sandwichplatte in einer Draufsicht und Fig. 2 eine Schnittansicht der feuerhemmenden Sandwichplatte gemäss der Linie A-A in Fig. 1, wobei in der Mitte ein Teil der Sandwichplatte weggeschnitten ist.
Die dargestellte feuerhemmende Sandwichplatte umfasst eine erste Deckplatte 2, eine zweite Deckplatte 3, einen dazwischen angeordneten Kern 1 sowie eine um den Kern 1 herum zwischen der ersten Deckplatte 2 und der zweiten Deckplatte 3 angeordnete Randleiste 4. Die erste Deckplatte 2 besteht aus fünf miteinander verleimten Holzlagen 21-25, während die zweite Deckplatte 3 fünf miteinander verleimte Holzlagen 31-35 umfasst. An die sechs miteinander verleimte Holzlagen 41-46 aufweisende Randleiste 4 ist von oben die Deckplatte 2 und von unten die Deckplatte 3 geleimt. Zwei benachbarte Holzlagen 21-25, 31-35, 41-46 der Deckplatte 2, der Deckplatte 3 und der Randleiste 4 kreuzen sich jeweils in der Faserrichtung des Holzes.
Als Leim wird ein Phenolharzleim verwendet, der feuerhemmend wirkt. Die Feuerhemmwirkung wird durch der Leimflotte zugegebene anorganische, nichtkorrosive Salze erzeugt.
Je nach verwendetem Material kann für die ganze Sandwichplatte die Brandklasse S3 oder sogar die Brandklasse S4 nach DIN 5510, 2. Teil, erreicht werden.
Der Kern 1 ist von der Deckplatte 2, der Deckplatte 3 und der Randleiste 4 vollständig umschlossen und muss deshalb nicht feuerhemmend ausgestaltet werden. Er besteht im vor liegenden Fall aus Poly-etherimid-Schaum, kann aber beispielsweise auch aus Polyurethan-Schaum oder PVC-Schaum, aus Balsaholz oder aus einer Wabenplatte sein, die z.B. aus Aluminium oder Aramid besteht. Sein Zweck ist die Gewährleistung einer hohen Druckfestigkeit bei geringem Gewicht.
Im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Kern 1 zwischen den Deckplatten 2, 3 von der Randleiste 4 aus mehreren Holzlagen 41-46 umschlossen. Denkbar ist selbstverständlich aber auch eine Umschliessung durch ein anderes feuerhemmendes Material, wie z.B. ein Schaum oder ein dünner Abdeckstreifen.

Claims (9)

1. Feuerhemmende Sandwichplatte mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Deckplatte (2, 3), zwischen denen ein im Vergleich zu den Deckplatten (2, 3) leichterer Kern (1) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Deckplatten (2, 3) jeweils mindestens drei miteinander verleimte, abgesperrte Holzlagen (21-25, 31-35) aufweisen und feuerhemmend ausgebildet sind und der Kern (1) von feuerhemmendem Material umschlossen ist.
2. Sandwichplatte nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (1) eine Dichte von maximal 300 kg/m<3>, vorzugsweise maximal 160 kg/m<3> aufweist.
3. Sandwichplatte nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (1) in senkrechter Richtung zu den Deckplatten (2, 3) einen E-Modul von mindestens 1000 N/mm<2>, vorzugsweise mindestens 4000 N/mm<2> aufweist.
4. Sandwichplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (1) aus Balsaholz besteht.
5. Sandwichplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (1) aus einem Schaum besteht, der z.B. Polyetherimid, Polyurethan oder PVC beinhaltet.
6. Sandwichplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (1) aus einer Wabenplatte, z.B. aus Aluminium oder Aramid, besteht.
7. Sandwichplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Deckplatte (2, 3) um den Kern (1) herum eine Randleiste (4) angeordnet ist, die mindestens drei miteinander verleimte Holzlagen (41-46) aufweist und feuerhemmend ausgebildet ist.
8. Sandwichplatte nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Randleiste (4) mit den beiden Deckplatten (2, 3) verleimt ist.
9. Sandwichplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die einzelnen Holzlagen (21-25, 31-35, 41-46) der Deckplatten (2, 3) und gegebenenfalls der Randleiste (4) mit einem feuerhemmenden Leim, insbesondere Phenolharzleim, verleimt sind.
