The invention relates to a method for emptying bulk material from a particular bag-like container in which a height-adjustable by a control suction head is immersed in the bulk material, which is sucked through arranged at the lower end of the suction suction openings, and a suction head for Implementation of the procedure.
In an automated bag emptying station according to the document EP-A-0 943 560 a suction head on a gallows-shaped stand by a cable or the like and a connected thereto pneumatic cylinder is held adjustable in height. This suction head tapers in its outer shape down and has at the bottom of corresponding openings through which the bulk material is sucked. For suction, this suction head is immersed by pressing this cylinder into the medium and it can mit.diesem an upward pulling force on the suction head, whereby this is raised during emptying by means of a pressure regulator and then lowered jerkily.
With the emptying through this bag emptying station while a dipping of the suction head in the contents, even if it is relatively dense, be ensured, but this is a relatively complex control of the suction head during emptying required.
The present invention has the object, on the other hand, to improve a method according to the type described above such that a simplification of the suction takes place.
The object is achieved according to the invention by the method according to claim 1 or by the device according to claim 7.
With this method according to the invention or suction head, a safe and simple suction of the bulk material can be achieved. You do not have to constantly lower the suction head during suction and lift it up again. By measuring and evaluating the distance between the sensor on the suction head and the level surface is ensured at all times that the suction head is in the correct vertical position and does not drift sideways or otherwise stuck in a wrong position.
An embodiment of the invention and further advantages thereof are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. It shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> is a side view of a suction head according to the invention.
A suction head 10 according to Fig. 1is suspended via a releasable suspension 12 on a cable, not shown in detail, which is connected via a stand to an actuatable via a control drive member. Reference is made in this regard to the aforementioned document EP-A-0 943 560, in which a bag emptying station is explained in detail. The present invention is concerned with the formation of the suction head in combination with a sensor and the method for its operation when emptying a container filled with bulk material, for which in particular a bag is used. Suitable bulk materials are free-flowing, pulverulent, or other relatively loose materials, such as plastic granules, dyes, but also difficult-to-flow bulk materials, such as granules with high density.
The suction head 10 is adjustable via the suspension 12 by a cable, a chain or the like with the advantageously designed as a pneumatic piston / cylinder drive member in height so that with him a filled with bulk bag can be emptied. As a drive member but also an electric motor, a crank or the like could be used.
The suction head 10 has a closed on the top with a lid 19 housing 15, which comprises a cylindrical housing part 16, a downwardly tapering housing part 17 and a subsequent inventive suction beak 18 with the slot-like suction openings 18. The suction beak 18 has an approximately cylindrical shape and the suction openings 18 are arranged distributed uniformly on its circumference. In addition, it is provided at the lower end with rounded annular edges 18. Its outer diameter is for example between 50 and 100 mm.
Through the housing 15 therethrough also extends a suction tube 13, which is continued above the housing and guided to a recycling station not shown in detail. The bulk material 11 is sucked at the suction beak 18 by a suction generated in this suction pipe 13. Of course, this housing 15 could be designed differently in shape.
In such a bag emptying station according to this document EP-A-0 943 560 is also provided via a different cable and another pneumatic cylinder also, but independent of the first cable height adjustable holder for the container, wherein due to the pneumatic cylinder to pulling up force during emptying is constant or can be specified and preferably falls below a residual weight, the container preferably from the ground. This is also provided with advantage in the present arrangement according to, but is not important in connection with the invention and is therefore not explained in detail.
Furthermore, in the suction head 10, a vibrator 31 and on the other hand for balancing located counterweight 32 and provided with a cable connection 33 electrical connector 33 is present, which are screwed in the housing 15 and 19 in the lid. With this vibrator 31 is generated in a conventional manner during the emptying a vibration on the housing 15 and consequently on the surrounding bulk material, whereby the bulk material is loosened and thus can be better sucked.
Together with the suction beak 18 on the underside of the suction head 10 and this vibrator 31 is formed during the suction another significant advantage in the sense that this suction beak 18 as a sinker or like a drill penetrates into the bulk material and centered or stabilized is, even if it is the bulk material is a heavy-flowing material with high density.
According to the invention the suction head 10 is associated with a sensor 20 which is laterally attached to the suction beak 18 in the housing 15, by means of which the distance h to the level surface 11 in the adjustment A of the suction head 10 can be measured. The sensor 20 is expediently arranged with its cylindrical measuring housing 21 on the upwardly widening housing part 17 protruding.
As a sensor 20, a capacitive distance sensor is used in the context of the invention, which is connected via a conducted in the housing 15 electric cable 22 to the electrical connector 33 at the upper end of the suction head 10, so that from above an electrical cable in this connector 33 can be connected and connected to the controller.
This sensor 20 is positioned with its lower end face 24 above the Saugschnabels 18 and its lateral suction openings 18. He can thus already measure a distance h between this end face 24 of the sensor and the level surface 11 of the bulk material 1 I, when the suction beak 18 is still immersed in the filling material 11.
In the inventive method for emptying bulk material from the container, the distance h between the sensor 20 on the suction head 10 and the level surface 11 of the bulk material is measured when lowering the suction head 10 for the suction of the bulk material 11 and passed to the controller. Once this distance h has fallen below a predetermined desired value, the suction head 10 is immersed with its suction openings 18 in the bulk material 11 and thus stopped in this position and the bulk material sucked.
As a result, this level surface 11 will lower relative to the stationary suction head 10 and as soon as the determined by measurement setpoint of the distance h between the sensor 20 on the suction head 10 and the sinking level surface 11 is formed, the suction head is in turn immersed in the bulk material and stopped and the bulk material aspirated. This "stop and go" process with measuring, immersing and aspirating with the suction head stationary is then repeated until the bulk material has been almost completely emptied out of the container.
The measurement of the distance h by means of the suction openings 18 mounted above the sensor. Depending on the material density of the bulk material, the suction head 20 can be immersed until it stops so far that the sensor is also at least partially immersed in the bulk material. Consequently, it is sucked off with the suction head stopped until the sensor 20 again emerges from the descending bulk material, so that it measures the increasing distance to the level surface and forwards it to the controller. The suction head 20 is advantageously so far immersed in the bulk material until it is approximately in its own weight in the bulk material, but it is held over the cable in the stopped position until the next lowering.
At the end of the bag emptying, in which the suction head 20 only partially immersed with the lower end of the Saugschnabels 18, since it rests on the bottom of the container, the control for lowering the suction head 20 is set so that the suction head 20 through the cable is held in an upright position, even if the desired value of the distance h is given and a lowering of the suction head would have to take place.
The target value of the distance h between the sensor 20 on the suction head 10 and the level surface 11 can be changed depending on the nature of the bulk material, which may be on the order of one centimeter to about 10 centimeters.
The electrical control of the distance measurement and the Saugkopfverstellung via a corresponding program control, as is well known.
It should be noted that in the drawing, the vibrator 31 and the sensor 20 are illustrated in the same plane. However, the sensor is advantageously arranged at 90 [deg.] To the vibrator transversely to the longitudinal axis of the suction head, so that there are no space problems between the two:
The invention is sufficiently demonstrated with the above-described embodiments. She Hesse, however, still pose in other variants. In principle, more than one sensor 20 could be provided. This Hessen determine the resulting unevenness in the suction of the level surface 11 better and could be considered accordingly in the control. As the sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a laser beam sensor, a one-way distance sensor or the like could be used.
