Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Überprüfung der Identität einer Person auf einem Server (10) eines Dienstleisters ist ein Endgerät (2) der Person über ein Datenkommunikationsnetz mit dem Server (10) verbunden. Es wird eine vom Endgerät (2) zum Server über das Datenkommunikationsnetz übermittelte Abbildung (101) eines Identifikationsdokuments empfangen. Es werden Informationen über die zu überprüfende Person auf dem Server (10) bereitgestellt. Es wird eine Abbildung (104) der zu identifizierenden Person aus der vom Server empfangenen Abbildung (101) des Identifikationsdokuments extrahiert. Es wird eine vom Endgerät (2) zum Server (10) über das Datenkommunikationsnetz übermittelte Datei mit einer visuellen Darstellung (103) der zu überprüfenden Person empfangen. Es wird eine Übereinstimmung zwischen der auf dem Server empfangenen Datei mit der visuellen Darstellung (103) der Person und der Abbildung (104) der zu identifizierenden Person mittels eines Gesichtserkennungsverfahrens bewertet. Schliesslich wird eine erfolgreiche Überprüfung der Identität bestätigt, falls vorgegebene Kriterien, mindestens an die Übereinstimmung, erfüllt sind.
