Abstract

Turbolader, mit einer Turbine (1) zur Entspannung eines ersten Mediums, mit einem Verdichter zur Verdichtung eines zweiten Mediums unter Nutzung von in der Turbine bei Entspannung des ersten Mediums gewonnener Energie, wobei die Turbine (1) ein Turbinengehäuse (3) mit einem Turbinenzuströmgehäuse (4) und einen Turbinenrotor (6) aufweist, wobei der Verdichter ein Verdichtergehäuse und einen mit dem Turbinenrotor (6) über eine Welle (7) gekoppelten Verdichterrotor aufweist, wobei das Turbinengehäuse (3) und das Verdichtergehäuse jeweils mit einem zwischen denselben angeordneten Lagergehäuse (2), in welchem die Welle (7) gelagert ist, verbunden sind, und wobei das Turbinenzuströmgehäuse (4) derart spiralartig, einstückig und doppelwandig ausgebildet ist, dass zwischen einer äußeren Wand (15) des Turbinenzuströmgehäuses (4) und einer inneren Wand (16) des Turbinenzuströmgehäuses (4) ein Wasserkanal (17) zur Führung von Kühlwasser ausgebildet ist, und dass sich an die den Wasserkanal (17) begrenzende, innere Wand (16) des Turbinenzuströmgehäuses (4) an einer vom Wasserkanal (17) abgewandten Seite der inneren Wand (16) ein Führungskanal (18) des zu entspannenden ersten Mediums unmittelbar anschließt
