La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de correction d'affichage pour pièce d'horlogerie et un mouvement horloger comportant ce mécanisme de correction Le mécanisme de correction comporte un mobile intermédiaire de correction (3,4,5) intercalé entre un premier renvoi intermédiaire apte à être agencé en liaison cinématique avec un organe de commande (0) du mouvement horloger tel une tige de remontoir (0), et une came de correction (6) accouplé avec un organe indicateur (7) dont on souhaite corriger la position Le mobile intermédiaire de correction (3, 4, 5) est monté libre en rotation sur une bascule de correction (8) agencée mobile en rotation entre une position de correction dans laquelle le mobile intermédiaire de correction (3,4,5) est accouplé avec le premier renvoi intermédiaire et à l'organe de transmission (6) lorsque l'organe de commande (0) est dans une position de correction et une position de débrayage dans laquelle le mobile intermédiaire de correction (3,4,5) est désaccouplé du premier renvoi intermédiaire lorsque l'organe de commande (0) est dans une autre position
