L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article multicolore en cermet et/ou en céramique, realisé par compression d'au moins deux matières (2,3) de couleurs distinctes, ledit article comprenant un décor (8) en relief d'une couleur differente du reste de l'article, ledit decor (8) étant réalisé par ablation laser sur une des matières (3) après compression des deux matières (2,3). L'invention concerne également un tel article, notamment un composant horloger d'habillage ou du mouvement, en particulier une lunette (1) ou une couronne.
