Claims

1. A seat comprising at least one seat (2) and legs (6) fixed to a lower face of the seat, wherein said seat comprises a main part (16) and a secondary part (18), the legs (6) being fixed to the main part (16), wherein the main part (16) comprises a recess (20) opening into an edge (10) of the seat intended to be oriented towards a table and to allow a person to sit on the seat facing the table, and wherein the secondary part (18) has a shape complementary to the shape of the recess (20) and is capable of passing from a first position, in which the secondary part (18) at least largely closes the recess (20) and a second position in which the secondary part (18) frees at least a large part of the recess (20), so as to allow the main part to be arranged around a table leg.

2. Seat according to claim 1, in which the main part (16) has the shape of a U, the person being intended to rest on the bottom of the U and on the branches of the U.

3. Seat according to claim 1 or 2, in which the secondary part (18) is mounted articulated on the main part (16) so as to remain attached to the main part (16) in its first position and in its second position.

4. Seat according to claim 3, comprising a hinge (22) connecting the main part (16) and the secondary part (18), and means (26) for immobilizing the secondary part (18) to the main part (16) in the first position.

5. Seat according to claim 4, in which the immobilizing means (26) comprise lever latches (26.1) cooperating with hooks (26.2).

6. Seat according to claim 4 or 5, in which the hinge (22) is configured to ensure maintenance of the secondary part (18) at least in the second position.

7. Seat according to one of claims 1 to 6, in which in the second position the secondary part (18) is substantially in a vertical position.

8. Seat according to one of claims 1 to 7, in which the secondary part in its second position is located at least partly under the seat.

9. Seat according to one of claims 1 to 8, in which the recess (20) has a flared shape.

10. Seat according to one of claims 1 to 9, comprising a backrest (4) fixed to the seat (2) opposite the part of the seat into which the recess (20) opens.
