Description
Electric heater. The present invention a. for object an electric heater.
The appended drawing shows one embodiment thereof, given by way of example. Fig. 1 is a half sectional elevation thereof, FIG. 2 a side elevation, half cross section, and fig. 3 a plan, one half seen from below and the other half seen from above.
In the embodiment shown, the electric heating body is composed of four insulating plates A, for example made of mica, parallel and assembled at the top and bottom by two bolts B, the distance between the plates being ensured by spacers <B> (</B> '.
A resistant wire 1), for example made of nickel, is wound around the support thus formed and the ends of this wire are attached to the terminals G in the form of plug pins. current, fixed in an isolated manner on a 1 "bridge adjacent to the heating body.
To protect the windings of the wire P, the heating body is surrounded by a wire mesh cover G. 1_e lower bottom H. also in wire mesh. fits on the envelope G by means of a ring 1. The upper base has only one ring <I> J, </I> identical to the ring <I> 1. </I> The bottom H thus due the casing G and the ring .1 are connected to the heating body by the same bolts B.
The heating body as well as the envelope may have other shapes than that shown. Likewise, the contacts E can have various shapes corresponding to the sockets in which they must be secured.
The advantages of this heater consist in its small size, in its small consumption of electricity, in the rapidity with which heat is released to the body (heats it as well as in its many applications.
or as a proper heater. either as a device (the tu lette, for example, to dry the hair, the laundry e1.c., or again as a thermogenic device, for example, to serve as an employer, (. the hot compress etc.)
