Typewriter table with an attachment that can be closed with a roller blind. There are typewriter tables known, which have a type of old writing desks on set with roller blind. In these known typewriter tables, the table top is front in front of the essay, the table frame protruding greatly, arranged and fixed on the table frame. This has disadvantages which will be given later.
The subject of the present invention is also a typewriter table with slidable by roller blinds essays, in wel chem but the table top can be pulled forward bar, on the same part of the table frame with two front table legs is fixed, which table legs are moved so when pulling out the table top.
In the drawing, the (subject of the invention in one embodiment is provided, and Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the closed typewriter table, Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the opened and extended typewriter table, Fig. 3 is a vertical section through the same , FIG. 4 is a plan view, and FIG. 5 is a type of locking on a larger scale.
It is 1 the table frame with the two rear legs 2, of which a part is made; Namely Lich the table top 3 with the front frame 4, pull out, leaves in the position in which the table top 3 is indicated in Fig. 3 by dot-dash lines. The two front legs 5 and a rear leg 6 are fixed to the table top 3. These three legs run on rollers, so they are moved forward when the table top 3 is pulled out, so that the table top 3 does not float freely, but is well supported.
On the table frame 1 is the attachment 7, which does not change its position when the table top is pulled out. It has compartments 8 for inserting letterheads and the like in a manner known per se. These subjects, however, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 show, not down to the table top. A bar 9 prevents objects lying on the table top 3 from moving backwards. can be pushed under the compartments without shifting environment of the table top, otherwise they would fall freely through the hole 10 behind the extended table top to the ground.
However, you can in front of the bar 9 a letterhead or other objects that do not reach up to the bottom shelf, leave plate 3 when inserting the table. They are then pushed under the compartments with the tabletop. The empty space 11 in the attachment 7, which is known per se, is used to accommodate the typewriter. This can remain in the writing position on the extended table top 3 and is automatically pushed into the room 11 when the table 3 is pushed back.
So in order to bring the typewriter table from the working position into the closed position, it is no longer necessary to clear the table top 3 and to move the typewriter relative to the table top 3. You need the table top 3 with everything that is on it to slide back, pull down the roller blind 12 and lock it. If you pull the table top 3 out again later, everything is ready to write, just as you left it. This is a big advantage over the previous typewriter tables mentioned in the introduction.
A locking arrangement can be arranged on the pull-out part in order to secure it in its two end positions. In Fig. 5 such an example is shown. In the extendable part an axially displaceable rod 13 is mounted, which is held by a spring 1.4 in the gezeich designated position. It has wedge-shaped lugs 15. On the pull-out part and. on the fixed part 1 are also ver tically displaceable two resilient latches 16 are arranged, which have pieces 17 below the rod cross.
In the closed position, the front bolt 16 snaps into the opening of an angle 18, thus securing the displaceable part in the pushed-in position. If the button 19 of the rod 13 is pressed while overcoming the counter pressure of the spring 14, the front nose 15 pushes the crosspiece 17 down and pulls the bolt 16 out of the angle piece 18 so that the table top 3 can be pulled forward.
If the table top 3 is fully pulled out, the rear lug 15 releases the rear bolt 16 which is mounted on the table frame 1 and which it had pulled down shortly before, which now snaps into a hole in the angle 20 and so the table top 3 in the drawn position secures. A differently constructed type of locking could also be seen easily.
