Description

Geschwindigkeitsmesser.

Speedometer. In the case of the so-called inevitable speed meters with several drop pieces, all measuring pieces are activated by a single lifting wheel, so that each individual measuring piece is lifted once during one revolution of the time shaft. In the case of strongly changing speeds, however, the resulting measurement times are too long and do not meet the practical requirements.

Therefore, according to the invention, several lifting wheel drives are provided in such a number for the falling pieces that each of the falling pieces is lifted at least twice during one revolution of the time shaft.

The invention is in the drawing in two embodiments in a Ge speed meter with several in a circle. rotated cylindrical sector-shaped drop pieces shown.

Fig. 1 is a vertical section through the first embodiment.

Fig. 2 is a top view of the parts below the section line A-B, Fig. 3 shows a detail, and Fig. 4 shows the development of an adjusting cylinder; F'ig. 5 shows the second embodiment in a partial plan view, and FIG. 6 shows the development of an adjusting cylinder.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the time wave f offset by a clockwork (not shown) by means of the gears ei and e2 ii) carries three independently liftable case pieces dl, d2, d3, which are moved in circles by the time wave and ste lien under the action of two lift wheels c1, c2. They rest on a disk f1 which is fastened to the time shaft f and opposite which a disk f 2 is arranged at the other end of the shaft f .

Both disks f, and f2 are connected by rods g, which serve both the falling pieces d, as well as an adjusting cylinder k as a guide. The lifting wheels get their drive from the shaft a by means of worm a1 and worm wheels b.

In order to enable the lifting wheels cl; c2 come into engagement with the next fall pieces immediately after the release of a falling piece, i.e. the rotation time of the time wave is used almost without any loss of time for the speed measurement, the falling pieces dl to d3 are created and arranged in such a way that when transitioning from one sector to the other one level is formed. as shown in Fig. 2 is ersiclitlicli.

Correspondingly, the lifting wheels e1, c_ are rearranged in that the one ends of the cells bl carrying the lifting wheels cl, c_ engage in points hl fastened to a carrier 1, while the other ends are in slots of a support h and supported by a spring j,

which is attached to the clamps jl encompassing the shafts b1, are pulled against the case pieces. Bundles b. secure the shafts b against longitudinal displacement.

The adjusting cylinder k for the display device is arranged on the guide rods g above the drop pieces d and without connection to them. which is lifted by the individual falling pieces and which falls back to the highest falling piece after their release by one or the other lifting wheel.

Near the lower edge of the adjusting cylinder are an annular flange k1 and stood at a certain distance from this sloping Rip pen k. arranged in a number corresponding to the number of settings of the pointer during one revolution of the time wave. Since the Zz has six ribs; the pointer is set six times during one rotation of the time wave f.

The Zn-ischenraum m between the annular flange k; and the lower end of the ribs k. is dimensioned in such a way that a nose II of a toothed rack 1, which adjusts the pointer by means of toothed segment ml, can pass through.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 and 6, four case pieces dl to d4 and three lifting wheels cl to c3 are seen, the uTellen b1 on the one hand in fixed tips hl and on the other hand in slots of holders i? are performed and are under the action of pressure springs o. The adjusting cylinder has twelve inclined ribs kz, so the pointer is adjusted twelve times.

The mode of operation of the speed meters described is as follows: The lifting wheels c1 and c, respectively, driven by your vehicle. cl, c_, c3 grip one after the other into the case pieces dl, d =, d respectively. dl to dl a.

With three fall pieces, the lifting time for each is four seconds. if the time of rotation of the time wave is twelve seconds.

From FIG. 2 it can be seen that the stroke wheel cl has just been released from the case piece d. and at the same time has come into engagement with the falling piece dl when the time wave f rotates in the direction of the arrow. At the same moment, the falling piece d; has fallen back, in order to then come into engagement with the lifting wheel c_ when the time wave f continues to rotate.

From the moment you look. in which the lifting wheel cl has come into engagement with the case piece, dl. until that point. in which the release of this case will take place again.

four seconds pass. _N # @ - during this time the falling piece d. @ Under the action of the lifting wheel c_ has rotated by half of the sector whirl, so that the lifting wheel c. after two seconds with the next case piece. After the passage of two seconds, each case piece arrives after it has taken over the support of the cylinder k. in the highest.

Location. and if at that moment the pointer is set. the actual sex% vindighciteir are shown approximately well even with a great change in the same. The adjusting cylinder k is at the height of the case that is currently in the highest position, and as soon as it falls back, the adjusting cylinder k also falls back to the highest standing case, in order to be lifted again by it.

The pointer adjusting cylinder 1c; carries as many helical ribs as the falling pieces reach the highest position in one turn. Accordingly, six ribs are provided in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to I and are arranged in such a way that at the moment when a case:

tücli has reached its highest position, the nose 1, through the space between the corre. corresponding rib 1z and the annular flange k occurs. The pointer m is adjusted and the cylinder k falls back, but this does not affect the pointer.

The ribs k 2 are arranged at an angle that at the highest speed that can be measured with the speedometer, in the instant following the setting of the pointer, the falling cylinder k cannot touch the nose 1. However, so that the ribs k2 can move the nose h downwards as the speed decreases, it is necessary not to make the ribs excessively steep.

This is achieved in that the largest stroke of the case pieces is selected as low as possible and the diameter of the adjusting cylinder is kept as large as possible. Since four drop pieces with three lifting wheels are provided in the arrangement according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the measuring time, that is to say the lifting time of a drop piece, is. Run the rotation time of the shaft f is twelve seconds.

three seconds, and the pointer iiz, is therefore set every second if three lifting wheels are used and the setting cylinder has twelve ribs. It is easy to see that the new speedometer can also be used as a revolution counter and that the pitfalls can also be given a different shape.
