Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines therapeutisch wertvollen Derivates des p-Aminophenols. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu dem in der Patentschrift Nr. 78043 beschriebenen p-Formylamidophenolallylätliei- auch gelangen kann, wenn man Formal-p-aminophenol mit allylierenden Mitteln behandelt.
<I>Beispiel</I> 157 Teile Formal-p-aminoplienol werden in 200 Teilen Alkohol gelöst und mit 121 Teilen Allylbromid versetzt. Unter Kochen am Rückflusse gibt man in mehreren Por tionen 56 Teile Ätzkali in 200 Teilen Alkohol gelöst hinzu. Nach zwei Stunden filtriert man vom Bromkali ab und verdampft den Alkohol bis auf einen kleinen Teil. Das zu rückbleibende Öl erstarrt beim Eingiessen in Wasser. Man kristallisiert aus Wasser um und erhält den Formyl-p-aminophenolallyl- äther in weissen Blättchen vom Schmelz punkte 56 .
Statt Allylbromid können andere Ally- lierungsmittel, zum Beispiel andere Allylhalo- genide., verwendet werden.
Process for the preparation of a therapeutically valuable derivative of p-aminophenol. It has been found that the p-Formylamidophenolallylätliei- described in Patent Specification No. 78043 can also be reached by treating formal-p-aminophenol with allylating agents.
<I> Example </I> 157 parts of formal-p-aminoplienol are dissolved in 200 parts of alcohol and 121 parts of allyl bromide are added. While refluxing, 56 parts of caustic potash dissolved in 200 parts of alcohol are added in several portions. After two hours, the potassium bromide is filtered off and the alcohol is evaporated except for a small part. The oil that remains solidifies when it is poured into water. It is recrystallized from water and the formyl-p-aminophenol allyl ether is obtained in white flakes with a melting point of 56.
Instead of allyl bromide, other allylating agents, for example other allyl halides, can be used.
