Description

Fig. 1 zeigt von oben her- drei airein- andergefügte Tafeln; Fig. 2 ist eine Stirn ansicht davon, und Fig. 3 ein Querschnitt nach der Linie A-A der Fig. 1.

   Schlägt sieh infolge     schroffen    Tem-           pernturwechsels    oder anderer Ursachen     Feuch-          ti-,-läe=it    an der Unterseite der Tafeln nieder,       oder-        findet    aus andern Gründen ein Arbeiten       des    Holzes statt, so kann dieses Arbeiten  auf die     Unterseite    der Tafeln beschränkt       bleiben,    so dass die Lauffläche des aus den       be,;

  Wooden panels, in particular for making floors. Wooden boards, such as those used, for example, in the form of solid floorboards and panels in the manufacture of foot stalls, are known to have the disadvantage that they throw themselves up, with the boards tending to stand out from their base as a result of the tensions that arise, i.e. unevenness of the soils formed by them arise. The present invention aims to counter this problem.

  According to the invention, the wooden panel is provided with grooves on its underside, the depth of which is at least one third of the thickness of the wood.

  The accompanying drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. FIG. 1 shows from above three panels joined together by air; Fig. 2 is an end view thereof, and Fig. 3 is a cross section taken along line A-A of Fig. 1.

  The planks b laid on a base a have grooves running in their longitudinal direction on the underside. In the board on the left, the grooves g have a triangular cross-section, in the two boards on the right the grooves h have a T-shaped cross-section. The depth of the grooves (1 and lz) is around two thirds of the entire wood thickness.

    The direction of the grooves can at most run transversely to the direction of the wood fibers in wooden panels whose base is square, but in this special case, too, they will at least almost coincide with the direction of the fibers. The boards have a seam on one long side and a corresponding groove on the other.

   The rebates have small depressions j which are intended to receive the head of nails k (Fig. 3 right), by means of which the boards are attached to the base.

  Through the grooves, the tensions that occur in massive wooden panels when they are lying on a base for a long time can be reduced to a minimum, while the flatness of the running surface of a floor is maintained. But if the surface itself is uneven, the drawn and written wooden panels are so flexible that they can snuggle up to it.

   If, as a result of abrupt changes in temperature or other causes, moisture condenses on the underside of the boards, or if the wood is worked for other reasons, this work can be limited to the underside of the boards, so that the tread of the be ,;

  The flat surface of the joined-together floor on the written boards is not impaired. In general, such a floor gains elasticity. The grooves also have an insulating effect and make the wooden panels lighter in weight, which is advantageous for transport.
