Description

Closures on windows, shutters and doors. The present invention relates to a closure on windows. Shutters and doors. The same has a trap pressed by spring action into one end position, with this when opening and closing the window, shutter or door coming into engagement and determining both end positions and a manually operated - organ for opening the trap. If the window, the shutter or the door provided with the lock enters one of the two end positions, the window etc. is automatically fixed and can then only be released again by actuating the said organ.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the closure is shown in with a shutter.

Fig. 1 shows the shutter and the shutter from the inside of the room in question, and Fig. 2 in plan view; FIG. 3 shows the closure in a section along the line J-J in FIG. 4 on a larger scale, and FIG. 4 in a section along the line .z @ x in FIG. 3.

In the housing 1 made of sheet metal, the latch 3 is slidably guided within a U-shaped guide 2 attached to the front wall of the former, which is pressed down by a spring 4 attached to the housing 1. The latch 3 is provided with two oppositely directed inclined surfaces b ″ and a slot 6 in between, which is intended to receive a block 7. In addition, a rocking lever 8 is rotatably mounted in the housing 1; this is provided with a lateral through a slot of the Trap 3 through arm 9 provided.

A pull rod 10 with several handles 11 attacks the upper end of the rocker lever 8; by pulling this rod outward, the trap 3 can be brought out of engagement with the block 7, after the same let go, the spring 4 brings the trap 3 back into the lower position.

The closure described is fastened on the inside at the lower edge of the window shutter (window or door) in question, as shown in FIG. 1, the pull rod 10 is held there by a guide tab 12 attached to the frame. The block 7 is fastened in the window sill and thus determined as a result of its intervention in the case 3, the closed position of the shutter.

Within a above-mentioned closure on the frame of the shutter C ehä.uses 13 is arranged a pawl 14, the hook 15 emerging from the housing 13 rests against the bolt 16 fixed in the window lintel; a spring 17 attached to the housing presses the hook 15 against the block 16. The upper part of the rod 18 rests in a recess in the rear part of the pawl 14, the lower part of which rests on the arm 9 of the rocker arm 8.

As can be seen from the figures, when pulling the pull rod 10 outwards, the latch 3 is lifted from the block 7; At the same time, under the influence of the arm 9 and the rod 18, the hook 15 of the pawl 14 is brought out of the area of the block 16, and the shutter can now be opened in the sense of the arrow drawn in FIG.

So that the shutter is secured in the open position, a stop 19 'is attached to the wall with an upright latch 19 "in the manner of the latch 7; when the shutter approaches this end position, the inclined surface 5" of the latch 3 slides over the latch 19 "until it automatically falls into the gap 6; a special manual operation of the pull rod; or the rocker arm is not necessary.

A top stop for the shutter. which in its open position comes into engagement with the pawl 15 can be provided on the wall, but is not absolutely necessary.

To close the shutter one only needs to pull on the pull rod 10, whereby, as already mentioned, the latch disengages from the clamp 19 ″, whereupon the shutter can be turned into the closed position 8, as shown in dotted lines in FIG. 3, a pusher 20 may be arranged.
