Stove. The present invention relates to a stove with a single hearth, the accompanying drawing of which represents, by way of example, two embodiments.

Fig. 10 shows a detail (one of these passages; Fig. 11 shows a detail of a part of the furnace intended for heating a living room: Fig. F2 shows schematically a perspective view. Another embodiment (the object of the invention, intended to serve as a cooking stove only: Figs. 13 and 14 show the arrangement of the boilers of the stove shown in Figs. 1, 2 and 3. Fig. 15 shows a variant of an embodiment of the grid.
The embodiment shown, by way of example, by FIGS. 1 to 10 comprises three main parts: the base D ', the body of the vertical cylindrical hearth provided with external radiating vertical walls X. a rectangular upper frame.
The base D 'has the shape of a closed rectangular frame. the angles of the front part of which are rounded: it has at its upper part an opening used to house the base plate C of the fireplace, supported by the walls D6 of a rec tangular chamber containing an inclined plate D intended to lead the ashes coming from the grate of the fireplace to a door D4 opening at the front of the base. The space inside the base, surrounding the rectangular chamber formed by the walls D ', is divided into three compartments, the side ones D7 of which are accessible from the outside through the doors Dl and the third to through the two doors D9. These compartments are used to store fuel.
Above the base rises the body of the hearth, formed of two vertical concentric cylinders A and R (fig. 4), resting on the base key plate C, arranged so as to leave an annular space between them. holding, at its upper part, a boiler. Four side openings O made in the walls of the two cylinders, roughly at the same level, serve as heat vents for the living rooms surrounding the stove, and above these vents are key O openings for loading the stove. hearth.
The base plate C carries the grid D, fitted with a frame fitted with horizontal bars and which slides between the guides Dl attached to the plate C. This grid can be removed by means of a handle. 'outside the base of the stove (fig. 1 and 2). Four vertical walls X 'radiate to the outside between the heat vents O of the cylindrical hearth, with the aim of connecting this denier to the key walls of the rooms of the building.
The heat vents 0 can be advantageously provided with sliding doors O, allowing them to be closed by will, shown in phantom in FIG. 4 and in solid lines in FIG. 5.
The loading openings OÚ are fitted with key doors Oê opening outwardly around horizontal hinges if fitted at the bottom of the openings serving to guide the fuel introduced. These key loading doors can be covered by the sliding panels 0 serving to cover the lower openings O, either during fuel loading, or to modify the draft.
The heat loop O located at the front of the posle, visible in fig. i, communicate, i; its lower part, with the interior of an anterior chamber E resting on the base D5, and formed by side walls applying against the two vertical walls r, covering each key side the heat outlet, and forming the front is the vertical extension key to the base, this chamber being closed at the top by a flat top.
The hot gases from the hearth enter this chamber E through the rear opening El, where their circulation can be regulated by registers not shown in the drawing, and from which they escape through two vertical channels F, located on each side of the heat outlet 0, and connecting with a common opening Gl (fig. 7), a horizontal plate G located above the cylindrical hearth and serving as a base key to the upper rectangular frame (fig. 1 and 3).
The hearth has, at its upper part, three channels P Pl and Pê (fig. 4 and 7) regulated by means of a single circular valve il. having the shape of a vertical cylinder with a lower horizontal flange, able to turn around (the outer cylinder B. The channels P and Pl communicate with the interior key of the part of the upper frame located behind the vertical wall L, while the channel read communicates with the front part (fi ,, -. 9i.
The valve H has, in its horizontal flange, an opening H1 regulating the opening; the flue keys F, and, in its eylindriqu wall, three openings H2 113 and H'- adjusting the channels P Pl and Pû. The key flange the valve H is provided with a toothed crown i <1 \ with which it meshes a pinion R carried by a horizontal shaft 1,11.
An external vertical disc R 'ei adué. located in front of a fixed mark R ', is used to actuate the shaft R1 by means of a spur gear (fig. 6 and 7).
The poet's upper rectangular frame contains clambers (the serving heater (the oven and the boilers shown schematically in fig. 9.
Three main ovens J J1 and, J2 open from the side (the kitchen. The ovens J1 and J2 exit directly adjacent to one side.
the outer casing Y (the frame, and leaving between them a free space, communicating with a space surrounding the middle oven J.
Two dish warmers J3 are placed (the slap side (the oven .1. The bottoms (these dish warmers and oven J are spaced from the plate (the base G.
A horizontal partition K of the envelope Y, parallel to the plate G is located above the ovens Jh and J2, leaving a free space between it and them.
The J J1 and J2 ovens as well as the J3 plate warmers are fitted with doors, those of the plate warmers being advantageously articulated at their lower part and arranged to support the plates or dishes which are inserted and withdrawn by closing or opening the doors.
The part of the frame between the transverse walls G and K and lateral F, test divided by the vertical median separation formed by the wall L, at the top of which there are two orifices L1 communicating with the interior (the upper horizontal branch a T-shaped flue Lx, mounted on the face of the separation L opposite the ovens.
The horizontal raw flue brandhe Lx is closed, at its two ends, by the exterior walls Y 'of the frame, key so that the gases coming from the hearth and entering the frame through the opening G', circulate between the ovens and the warmer by the free spaces to enter the flue Lx through the openings L1 and go down through the vertical branch of the flue, which opens at low height above the plate G. A pair of boilers M M1 resp. N N1 is disposed of each targeted of the vertical branch of the Lx flue.
These boilers are joined together by tubes Mü and N2 (fig. 2 and 3). These pairs of boilers occupy the greater part of the space situated behind the separation L, leaving between them as well as above and below a free space, communicating with two vertical car- neatrx K 'situated at the angles of the upper partition k (fig. 9).
An orilice L3 is provided in the horizontal branch of the flue L @ (fig. 1.0 !, communicating with the top of the space containing the boilers and which can be closed by means of a door L4 controlled from the former. tériéur lpar a device not shown in the drawing.
The door can obstruct either the entrance to the vertical branch of the flue L @, or the opening L3, so as to direct the gas flow in the lower or upper part (the space behind the separation L. @@ is therefore possible to direct the current of hot gases at will, either through the opening L3 directly to the vertical flues K1, or through the descending ver-ical branch of the flue Lx, in the space located under the boilers, which form as many, cde chieanes, whose gases lick the exterior surface while moving upwards to escape into the K1 flues.
These flues K 'pass vertically through the upper part of the furnace, formed by a heating chamber and containing the water reservoirs, to meet at the base of a central exhaust flue K2, connected to a non-flue. represented by the drawing.
At the top of the heating chamber there is a main hot water tank Q, connected to a supply tank Q1 and an auxiliary tank Q "(11Z. 1. * 3 and, li \.
See him again. hot water serving. mrx domestic herbal teas :, the reservoir Q- feeds the boilers .11 and N used to heat the water circulating in radiators not shown in the drawing.
A down pipe Q5 leaves from the reservoir see Q to end in Q4 at a water jacket surrounding the hearth (fig. 13 and 4). A second down pipe, Q5, leaves from the reservoir see Q @ to end at the boiler N1, this pipe communicates with the pipe Q3, itself connected to the boiler Mh. An ascent pipe Q 'leaves (the water jacket surrounding the hearth (fig. 13 and 4); it comprises branches Q7 and Q8 connected respectively to the boilers M1 and NI. A two-way valve Q' allows the water jacket of the household to communicate directly with either the M M1 boilers or the N NI boilers A pipe Q15 connects the Ml boil to the hot water tank Q used for domestic use.
Figs. 13 and 14 schematically show the water circulation system. The pipes Q11 and Q12 being supposed to be connected to radiators and serving as supply and return pipes.
Pipe Q1 @ supplies hot water from tank Q for domestic use.
The stove as it has just been described operates as follows: With the fire lit on the grate D, burns inside the hearth, the heat of which can be conducted at will in any one or more in all the rooms the house which surrounds it, through the air vents O, by means of the doors 05.
The H valve will be operated using the R5 disc, so that its H2 orifice is opposite the P2 channel of the fireplace. the opening Gl being then covered by the flange of the register and the channels P and Pl being respectively uncovered by a quarter and (one mo @ tié by the orifices H5 and HI of the cylindrical part of the valve.
The draft is thus established from the bottom up in the hearth, the gases of which exit through the channels P Pl and P2 by heating the water jacket surrounding the hearth, and arrive in the upper rectangular frame, under the ovens. From there, they escape, as has already been said, into the flues Ki and Ki2, following the direction of the arrows in fig. 9, not healthy around the ovens and boilers.
If it is desired to heat the anterior chamber E more strongly, the valve is brought into the position indicated in FIG. 7, the opening H1 of its flange uncovering the opening G1, while the channels P P1 and P2 are all closed.
This forces the draft to be done through the chamber h and through the flues F, from where the gases arrive again clans. the space under the ovens and then circulate as mentioned above.
One can at will heat more strongly the boilers N N1 of the radiators, by operating the valve H so that its H2 orifice discovers the P channel, the ovens being kept warm.
Bringing the hole H2 of the valve before the channel Pl, the main stream of hot gases will be directed below the M aIl boilers of domestic service. Intermediate positions of the valve make it possible to partially heat the various containers and thus to obtain regulation of their respective temperatures.
The fi ,. 15 shows, by way of example, a variant of the embodiment of the grid 1), having an independent circular part D1, held by means of pins Dl 'in the notches of the grid.
The dimensions of the part Dl ", with its tenons, allow it to be moved vertically in the hearth, so as to vary the height of the fire therein, this vertical movement being able to be controlled by means (the one piston Dl = actuated by a ratchet and a pinion not shown in the drawing. A handle similar to the handle D 'previously described allows the entire grid to be moved by sliding it in the guides D = (flg. 41 when the the central part D 'is lowered into place, and the piston withdrawn.
It would be possible, for example, in another embodiment, to provide the channels P P1 and P2 in the plate G instead of being vertical in the cylindrical walls A and B. In this case, the valve H would be formed by a horizontal disc containing the openings H1 H2 H3 H4.
Fig. 11 shows a detail of a key variant of the embodiment of the walls of the upper part of the fireplace, in which these walls contain a number of hinged panels S, arranged transversely and coated with an inner layer of material. thermal insulation Si, suppressing external radiation when these panels are closed, while when they are open (position indicated in phantom in the drawing) heat radiates outwards. A suitable device, not shown in the drawing, allows the operation of these panels.
Fig. 12 schematically shows, by way of example, another embodiment of the object of the invention, intended solely for cooking. This embodiment comprises a central hearth A similar to that of the first embodiment, provided with the valve H, and supported by a frame serving as a base, enclosing the grid, the ash box, as well as the chambers serving as a base. to store the fuel, and surmounted by a chamber E serving as a stove, communicating with the interior of the fireplace by one or opening at the base thereof.
The upper frame, supported by the hearth and four columns, contains a certain number of receptacles or compartments, two of which are shown schematically in the drawing, and which can serve as ovens or dish warmers or include boilers.
The unique valve H allows the gas from the fireplace to be directed into all or only part of the upper frame before escaping through the chimney, by making them not ser either directly or through chamber E and the flues F .
