Description

Process for sealing, securing and strengthening shafts and tunnels in loose rock layers. When driving tunnels and the sinking of shafts in mining, driving through loose rock layers causes great difficulties. But even in completed tunnels and shafts, mountain pressures and mountain movements often cause serious dangers and disturbances.

Lately cases have also become known that the pressure prevailing inside the water pressure tunnels blew up the reinforced concrete pipe, so that the pressurized water could break out of the cracks that had developed and cause underwashing or landslides; This damage, too, is largely due to the evasion of the already loose and loosened rock layers due to the tunnel drift.

The purpose of the present invention is to remedy these inconveniences. This is achieved in that systematically distributed recesses, z. B. boreholes, in the rock or stone layers surrounding the tunnel or shaft are made and reinforced, whereupon mortar is pressed into the recesses, which putties the reinforcements in the recesses and which also penetrates the loose layers and binds them together. It is created in this way in the tunnel or shaft surrounding iron concrete jacket.

Several embodiments of the new method are indicated schematically in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows in cross section a finished tunnel sealed according to the method; Fig. 2 shows in cross section the hedging of a tunnel under construction; Figure 3 is a longitudinal section of Figure 2; Figure 4 is a vertical section through a manhole in progress; FIG. 5 is a cross section of FIG. 4.

It has been found that already completed water tunnels of the type indicated in FIG. 1 can receive numerous cracks as a result of the internal pressure, because the existing rock layers are pressed together and give way.

In the case of the new construction, the tunnel soffit, which was made of concrete or masonry, was back-pressed almost to its full extent with liquid cement in order to bring the tunnel tube into close contact with the mountain layers passed through. The success, however, was that the internal pressure first blew up the reveal and then pushed away the individual parts of the tunnel together with the back-pressed mortar layer.

If this movement was only a fraction of a millimeter, it was enough to cause numerous hairline cracks in the concrete pipe, which together over the entire length of the pressure tunnel represent such a large outflow cross-section for the pressurized water that very significant ones Washouts take place, which in the future increase the evil even more.

It has now been suggested that the inner jamb of a damaged water pressure tunnel be removed by applying one. to seal the speaking sealing layer and also to reinforce it sufficiently, for example by inserting reinforcing iron into this layer.

Such a sealing layer without this reinforcement would naturally burst again when the pressure tunnel is filled again, while the application of a reinforced reinforcement layer would greatly impair the free cross-section of the tunnel due to the wall thickness caused by the reinforcement. In order to avoid these inadequacies, the improvement and strengthening of the structural condition were to extend to the rock layers behind the tunnel reveal.

For this purpose, as shown in Fig. 1, drilled holes arranged according to plan and according to the rock stratification are made from the inside of the tunnel, which are deep enough in the loosened Ge to a sufficient depth, for example 1.0-2.0 m . penetration. These boreholes are then first flushed out and cleaned using pressurized water, with the earthy intermediate layers of the rock layers being washed away at the same time. as long as it has not been cleaned beforehand by means of excavated tunnel water.

Then an iron anchor provided with notches is embedded in each borehole and then liquid cement mortar is injected under pressure, which penetrates deeply from each borehole into all cavities of the cut rock layers,

here all veins and pores are closed and the embedded iron anchors are inseparably cemented into the solidified mountainous layers. In this way, the tunnel lining is surrounded by a meter-thick iron = concrete jacket, with which it forms a coherent, uniform reinforced concrete body of great resistance.

The reinforcing irons can also protrude from the drill holes and the heads of the same can be connected to the existing or new reinforcements of the inner structure in an appropriate manner, for example by knotting, screwing, etc.

When new tunnels are built, the process can be used in such a way that, as illustrated, for example, in FIGS Length in the part of the mountain that remains above the tunnel. This part of the boreholes is then reinforced with iron inlays.

Then the above-mentioned grout injections take place, so that the hanging rock strata, which have been robbed of their substructure, are anchored and cemented at numerous points and thus become a self-supporting one. Form a protective roof under which the tunnel advance can be continued without danger and without hindrances. Of course, the sides of the cleat and the sole can also be secured in the same way.

An application. the method of sinking new shafts is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, for example. According to this, when jagged rock layers are encountered from the periphery of the shaft floor, eccentrically inclined drill holes are made downwards, for example from about 10-12 m depth, which cut through the rock clefts, provided with iron reinforcement in their lower part and then filled with mortar so that the shaft is driven through the unarmored part of the mountain,

while the reinforced and cemented rock walls provide a safe protective wall during the drive. If the sinking is then carried out at a depth of about 8-10 m, drill holes are made in the same way from the new shaft bottom to reinforce and cement another joint of the side walls.
