Description

Device for condensing exhaust steam through the condensate. The present invention relates to a Z orricbtung for condensing vou exhaust steam, z. B. from turbines, piston machines or the like, through the condensate, in which a main liquid nozzle at least one shut-off nozzle is switched on.

The drawing shows a longitudinal section through an exemplary embodiment of the device.

The apparatus formed by nozzles lies in a container filled with condensate. The exhaust steam passes through the nozzle 1 after the narrowing steam nozzle 2, mixes with the condensate flowing from the main liquid nozzle 3 into the apparatus and condenses, creating an A.1) - ready-made momentary vacuum.

Ver may this vacuum, the condensate surrounding the apparatus tends to flow through the exhaust cone 4 back into the inside of the apparatus, whereby. There is a strong noise and an interruption of the Xondensate entry through the main liquid nozzle 3 if the nozzle 5 is not present. The emptying of the apparatus then only closes at a certain overdrive and the same process begins again.

To remedy this inconvenience, whoever the one or more locking nozzles. 5 built in, which counteract the liquid backflow in the exhaust cone, so that the main liquid nozzle 3 is no longer influenced by this Re-, and thus a continuous entry of the nondesafe and thirst flow of the same through the apparatus can take place.

Furthermore, shocks and noise are avoided even at high condensate temperatures without additional water or air being introduced into the apparatus and the counterpressure can also be limited to a minimum. The nozzles 3, 5 are directed in such a way that they direct the flows to a point x of the axes I-II. The size of the nozzles 3, 5 is ver changeable, for.

   B. because, ss between the 'files 2, 3 and 5 discs of different thicknesses are placed.

7!: So far, devices have been used to condense exhaust steam. to which supplementary water is continuously fed to the apparatus to reduce the noise
