Description

element of construction. The object of the present invention is a construction element intended for the construction of walls with air circulation mattresses.

The appended drawing represents, as by way of example, one embodiment of the element and its application to the construction of a wall.

Fig. 1 is a elevation wall panel; Fig. 2 is a section along the plane A-B of FIG. 1, and fig. 3 is a plan view of fig. 1; Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the element used for the construction of the wall, FIG. 1 to 3.

The construction element shown in fig. 4 comprises the two thick prismatic facings a and b, separated Pun from each other and rellids, at their upper part, by a passage h, < / I> from way to to have in cross section the shape of an inverted U .

The crosspiece h is pierced right through by two vertical channels d, intended to establish communication between the horizontal channels formed by the facings and the foundations of the mut, fig . 1. A part of the transverse side face c and the upper face of the cross member h of the element are reinforced by a projection e, resp. e 'of low thickness, for example from 1 to 2 centimeters.

For the construction of a wall by means of elements as shown, the elements are arranged end to end, so that the projection e 'touches the planar transverse face c' of the adjacent element, as represented by, figs. 1 and 3. The contiguous elements thus form between their faces c c 'inters tices f, in which a binder, for example cement, is poured to form the joints.

On the Passise thus formed, a new layer of elements with alternating vertical joints is superimposed, after having applied to the facings, on each side of the projection e, in the interstice f < / B> binder, to form the horizontal joints, as shown in fig. 2.

This arrangement makes it possible to use as little binder as possible, since the quantity used cannot exceed the depth of the interstices f pt f, limited by the projections e, resp. e '.

The wall thus formed by the superposition of layers of elements, contains an air mattress whose circulation is ensured, in the horizontal direction, by the channels y, formed by the lower part of the facings and the cross sections of the elements of the lower seat and, in the vertical direction, by the channels d arranged in the cross members h, which establish the communication between the horizontal channels y < / B> of each layer.

Among the main advantages of the element described, there should be mentioned the thickness of the facings a and b which gives it a character of robustness that is not found in hollow with thin walls. The arrangement of the joints formed by the interstices f and f and the fact that with the same type of element small build walls, frames and projections complete the essential qualities of this element.

The small element comprises one or several partitions interposed parallel to the facings and may even have the thickness thereof. The number of channels with which the sleepers are pierced and their shape may differ from those shown.
