Description

       Fig.    1 est une vue en élévation latérale  de l'agrafe d'une première forme d'exécution  dont       Fig.    2 est une vue en plan et       Fig.    3 une coupe en plan suivant les  flèches de la ligne     III-III    de     fig.    1;       Fig.    4 est une vue latérale de la tige, et       Fig.    5 est une coupe de cette première  forme appliquée à une caisse d'emballage;

         Fig. 6 est une coupe de l'agrafe' de la seconde forme d'exécution dont Fig. 7 est une vue en plan suivant les flèches VII-VII de la fig. 6, et Fig. 8 une coupe suivant les flèches VIII-VIII de la fig. 6; Fig. 9 est une vue latérale de la tige, et Fig. 10 une coupe de cette seconde forme appliquée à une caisse d'emballage.

  Security stamp to ensure the closure of packing cases. The present invention relates to a security seal for closing packing cases; this seal comprises, on the one hand, a clip of which each of the two branches, of flattened shape, is pierced with a hole whose periphery is formed of tabs separated from each other by grooves made in the branches from the edge holes, and, on the other hand, a rod, the surface of which has circular grooves not in a helix and distinct from each other, the whole arranged in such a way that, the branches of the clip being planted one in one and the other in another of the boards forming a packing box,

   and the rod being planted in this box so as to penetrate successively into the hole of each of the two branches of the clip, the tabs of the holes are separated by the rod and, under the action of their own elasticity and of the pressure of the part of the board which they compress by their spacing, engage strongly in the grooves of the rod so that the latter and the clip cannot be torn from the body without seriously damaging the clip and the cash register, with the aim that any attempt to open the cash register by removing the seal leaves perfectly visible signs of tampering. .

  Two embodiments of the security seal according to the invention are given, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing.

       Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of the clip of a first embodiment of which FIG. 2 is a plan view and FIG. 3 a plan section along the arrows of the line III-III of FIG. 1; Fig. 4 is a side view of the rod, and FIG. 5 is a section of this first form applied to a packing case;

         Fig. 6 is a section through the clip 'of the second embodiment of which FIG. 7 is a plan view along arrows VII-VII of FIG. 6, and Fig. 8 a section along the arrows VIII-VIII of FIG. 6; Fig. 9 is a side view of the rod, and FIG. 10 a section of this second shape applied to a packing case.

  In each of these two embodiments, the two branches 1 and 2 of the clip have, one a circular hole 3 and the other a circular hole 4 smaller than 3 and coaxial therewith. The periphery of each of these two holes is formed of tabs 12 separated from each other by grooves 11 made in the branches of the clip. The rod 5 of each of these two shapes is conical, has two parts 6 and 7 provided with circular black helical grooves made in its surface, and is terminated by a thinned cylindrical part 8 on the side of the large base of the cone.

  In the first embodiment (fig. 1 to 5), the clip is planted in the box, for example in the wall 9 and the cover 10 thereof, so that the rod penetrates, through the small base of its cone, first in the large hole 3 of the branch 1, then in the small hole 4 of the branch 2 of the clip; by entering it, it separates the tongues 12 from these two holes which, by the elasticity of the sheet and the pressure of the wood exerted on them, remain engaged with the grooves of the rod and absolutely prevent the latter from being pulled out without strongly damage the clip and the body, as can very well be seen from FIG. 5.

  In the second embodiment (fig. 6 to 1.0), the branch \? of the clip is retracted laterally at 14 on the rest of the clip, and on this branch is engaged by sliding as a plate 15 whose two lateral edges are curved on branch 2, and which abuts against the back of the clip. This plate 15 does not have a hole and obstructs the one 4, of the branch 2. In addition, the rod of this shape ends, -on the side of the small base of the cone, by a thinned flat part 13.

  The clip, with the plate 15, is planted in the box like that of the first embodiment, and, when the rod is planted so as to penetrate first into hole 3, then into hole 4, it spreads the tongues 12 which engage with its circular grooves, but its thinned flat part 13 meeting the resistance plate 15 is constrained by the latter to bend and engages between the branch 2 and the plate 15 which is therefore a little distorted. As shown in fig. 10, the shank cannot be torn off without seriously deteriorating it. clip to the cash register.

  The grooves of the rod being circular and not helical like a screw thread, the rod cannot be unscrewed to remove the clip, and its extraction is further made difficult because of the thinned part 8, only accessible part of the rod and which, by its weakness, offers a weak point of support.

  These two embodiments of the security seal according to the invention are very effective and particularly useful for ensuring the closure of packing boxes intended for long journeys and for which the theft insurance companies require good safety closures.

  The security seal according to the invention may differ from the embodiments described, for example by the shape of the rod which could be cylindrical, the two holes of the two branches of the clip then being of the same diameter, the clip could be of sheet steel, iron, brass, steel rolled into flat strips, etc .; the number of tabs per hole could be other than that shown in the drawing and different from one hole to another for the same clip, for example five for the large one and four for the small hole; the rod could be iron, steel, brass etc. and the profile of its grooves to be other than that shown in the drawing summer.
