Last in hohem Masse abhängig.
Fig. 2).
isynehron motor system with device for monitoring the acceleration conditions. In all cases in which the moment of the load is unknown when controlling electric motors and at the same time large masses have to be accelerated, it is desirable to know the acceleration and deceleration of the moving masses in order to avoid unauthorized accelerations or decelerations.
This is the case, for example, with conveyor systems where the load acts as a driving force when it is suspended. TTm to pause a certain travel diagram, it is necessary to always pause for a prescribed acceleration regardless of the direction and size of the load. Inadmissible accelerations or delays must be avoided for safety reasons in order to rule out dangerous loads or slipping of the hoisting rope in the case of Köpe pulleys. It is also an advantage in rail operations to accelerate the vehicle when starting up on inclines and especially when braking on a downhill slope. To be able to overlook delay.
This overview is possible, please include with the known Leonard drive with direct current, because each position of the control lever corresponds to an almost specific speed of the drive motor. However, this is no longer the case with all drives where resistors are used in the main circuit for starting, for example with asynchronous motors. Here, the speed is no longer determined by a certain position of the starter, but by the size and direction of the. Load dependent to a large extent. The acceleration or deceleration can therefore no longer be overlooked and is difficult to regulate by the operator.
Even knowing the current strength or, in the case of asynchronous machines, the power consumption cannot provide reliable information about the accelerations or decelerations that occur. The current consumption is a measure of the pre-torque developed by the motor, but the actual acceleration during the start-up period is proportional to the difference between this motor torque and the torque of the load, i.e. it will be less, equal to or greater than that of the motor current when the motor is not under load generated acceleration would be, depending on whether the load to be lifted is positive, zero or negative.
In the case of deceleration braking, conversely, the deceleration is greater, equal to or less than the deceleration corresponding to the generator braking torque with an unloaded engine, depending on whether the load to be braked is positive, zero or negative.
According to the invention, the power is used to monitor the acceleration and deceleration of an asynchronous motor, which an asynchronous motor provided with flywheels and electrically coupled to the motor by double feeding takes from or returns to the network.
For this purpose, the windings of the stator and the rotor of this Eilfs- motor can be connected to the stator windings and the rotor windings of the main motor accordingly or crosswise. The voltages and frequencies occurring at the auxiliary motor are exactly the same as those of the main motor, both in the stator and in the rotor. This second motor must therefore copy all movements of the main motor within the limits drawn by the overload capacity.
Since this copier motor essentially drives a flywheel mass; When starting up, every increase in speed is associated with a power consumption only corresponding to the acceleration. The watt component of the current consumed by this auxiliary motor - minus the small portion to cover the internal losses - thus provides a measure of the acceleration of its mass. But since the auxiliary motor copies all movements of the main motor, the watt current it consumes also gives a measure of the actual acceleration of the main motor, regardless of the direction and the size of the load on this motor, because the current intensity of the copier motor is also independent of this .
You can therefore make the acceleration and deceleration visible to the eye by simply installing a wattmeter or by giving up complete accuracy and a current pointer in the part of the copier motor that is fed with mains frequency.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, an exemplary embodiment is shown from the invention. n- means an asynchronous three-phase motor fed by the network b, which drives the pulley c for a conveyor system. Its speed is regulated by the resistance d.
On the stator and rotor of this motor is a second one; small asynchronous motor e with a flywheel f closed, with a transformer g is interposed to reduce the voltage between the motor e and the stator of the conveyor motor a. To measure the power supplied to the copier motor e, the wattmeter 6r is used, from whose pointer position the acceleration of the conveyor motor can be recognized and the same can be regulated accordingly by hand.
The regulation of the acceleration of the conveyor motor can also be set up automatically if, instead of a simple wattmeter, a wattrneterrelay is used, which acts on a servo motor that either changes the slip resistance of the conveyor motor or influences the freedom of movement of the control lever. The relay comes into effect when a certain acceleration of the hoisting machine is not stopped.
The desired acceleration is set on the Wattixieterrelais by changing the series resistance of the thin-wire coil, the spring tension or the contact position. This setting and thus the size of the actual acceleration can also be changed while driving, depending on the distance covered, for example by a cam driven by the depth pointer. Any driving diagram with variable acceleration can then be reached automatically.
Instead of a relay with a servomotor, an asynchronous motor with an unlinked stator winding and a rotor that can swing around its axis can be used to record and control the acceleration. This motor 7e is, as shown in Fig. 2 of the drawing voltage, connected in series with the copier motor: It behaves like a current transformer, thus corresponds to a choke coil connected upstream of the copier motor.
The torque of this “in-line motor” is intended to keep the mechanical torque acting on the control of the resistors or the control lever position for a certain acceleration, i.e. for a certain amperage in the copier motor circuit. The torque of the series motor required for this depends on the amperage the voltage consumed in the motor, which is determined by the size of the rotor resistance 1, can thus be conveniently adjusted by changing its rotor resistance 1.
For currents, including accelerations that differ from those for which the device is set, the in-line motor's torque will then outweigh the mechanical torque attacking the control device or give in to it, with the rotor resistance unchanged.
If the in-line motor is to work at a different constant acceleration of the main motor, either the mechanical torque that seeks to adjust the resistances or the control lever position or the torque developed by the in-line motor 1e at a certain current intensity must be changed. The latter happens simply by changing the resistance 1 connected to the rotor circuit.
A change in the set acceleration can therefore be brought about by simply changing the resistance, so that it is also possible here to drive off automatically according to any travel diagram. Overregulation can also be avoided. For example, when using the motor relay described, the dependency of the torque of the series motor on the resistance is used for this purpose, in that this is automatically changed as a function of this when the control movement occurs.
Also to regulate the delay in. Braking the main engine is to use the invention. If the main motor is turned into a braking generator when it is shut down after disconnection from the mains, either its stator winding or its rotor winding is excited with direct current, for example by the battery in FIG. 2, and accordingly its rotor or stator winding closes on braking resistors, the copier motor also becomes a synchronous machine because of the electrical connection of its stator and rotor windings with those of the main motor,
which works in parallel with the main motor and has the same speed as it. Since the flywheel of the copier motor tries to maintain its motion, a deceleration is only possible if the motor develops a braking torque. The braking torque of the motor is proportional to the strength of its magnetic field and the strength of the current in the conductors cut by the field during rotation. If the magnetic field is generated by unchanged DC excitation, the braking torque is only dependent on the magnitude of the braking current. The braking current is therefore a measure for the braking torque and thus also for the size of the respective deceleration.
As a result, the delay can be identified by a current pointer in the copier motor circuit or automatically regulated by a device whose effect is dependent on the current if this device is allowed to act on releasing the control lever or changing the braking resistors of the main motor.
By using the acceleration controller, it is also possible to design completely automatic starting devices in the manner of push-button controls. In the case of a conveyor system, for example, it is only necessary to switch on the conveyor motor in the desired direction of rotation to initiate the start-up period and to allow the torque of the control device, which is locked in the idle state, to take effect.
The further starting takes place automatically according to the previously set acceleration until full travel speed is reached, whereupon a special device locks the control device for the acceleration again. To stop using direct current excitation, a stop on the depth pointer disconnects the rotor from the start-up resistors and applies it to a direct current source; At the same time, the stator is switched off from the mains and closed via braking resistors (see Fig. 2).
The braking resistors can also be used as braking resistors. Since the braking energy flow flows in the opposite direction to the acceleration energy flow, the direction of rotation of the control device must be switched over automatically or electrically each time the lock for the torque of the control device is released.
Since the copy motor copies the movement of the conveyor motor exactly, it can be used at the same time to drive a tachograph and to drive the safety devices against excessive speeds.
The copier motor used above to determine the acceleration and deceleration of asynchronous motors can also be used to determine the magnitude and direction of the load torque. This determination is important for the operation of the control in conveyor companies, for example. If the operator immediately sees that there is a heavy lowering load when the control lever is extended, he can prevent the engine from running away by quickly bringing the control lever into the short-circuit position of the starter when starting up. In this case, however, he would have to accept bumps and zip lines due to excessive acceleration.
Knowing the size and direction of the load torque is also valuable if the asynchronous motor is made by supplying direct current to a synchronous machine in order to either only prevent the motor from exceeding the synchronous speed or to use it for electrical deceleration braking by using it can work on the network or on resistors. In the first case, it is advisable to let the motor, which works as a synchronous generator, return the energy to the network without a phase shift. For this, however, the level of excitation varies depending on the load. If this is not dimensioned according to the size of the load, there is a risk that the moment of the load will outweigh the synchronizing moment of the machine and the machine will run away.
In the second case, with electrical deceleration braking, the braking energy to be generated by the machine for one and the same braking distance is different depending on the size and direction of the excess load to be braked. The braking energy generated depends on the size of the braking resistor and the level of excitation. Since you will always work with the same braking resistance, which is reduced by the control proportionally to the decrease in speed, in order to obtain the same discharge path, the strength of the excitation must be adapted to the size and direction of the load.
The size and direction of the excess load can now be determined by determining the difference between the power consumption of the copier motor and that of the drive motor. The power consumed by the copier motor during the approach corresponds at any moment to the difference between your torque 111 "of the drive motor and the load torque Hq of this motor. The power taken from the network by your drive motor is a measure of the rotational speed it has developed. moment Mm.
The difference between the two powers is therefore a measure for the load torque M ,. This can be determined by the fact that the currents corresponding to the power on the axis of rotation of an instrument are brought into effect in opposite directions, whereby they have to be translated to comparable values by means of the current transformers that are already present.
The resulting torque exerted on the axis of rotation of the instrument is then equal to the difference between the motor torque less load torque on the one hand and the motor torque alone on the other hand, i.e. (111m 37q) -Mm _ -Mq, if the load q is positive. The sign is reversed for a negative load. If the load is --- 0, i.e. H. if falling and rising loads are equal to each other, then Al, - 0, and the instrument does not experience any torque.
A wattmeter with two coil systems can be used as a measuring instrument, as is known for measuring the power of unevenly loaded three-phase networks. This instrument immediately shows the size and direction of an excess load at the start of the approach.
In Fig. 3 of the drawing, an exemplary embodiment from this is shown. The asynchronous motor a driving the conveyor disk o is fed from the three-phase network b, the speed of which is regulated by the resistor d ge. To determine the size and direction of the excess load q, the stator and rotor winding of the drive motor a are connected to the stator and rotor windings of the copier motor e with the flywheel mass f. Furthermore, a power meter h is provided with two coil systems i and k which act on a common axis d.
One system, i, is switched into the supply lines from the mains to the copier motor, the other, k, into the supply lines to the drive motor. Both systems are switched in such a way that the torques exerted by them on axis 1 counteract each other. The difference in torque, which is proportional to the size of the load q, is indicated by the pointer o on the scale p. The direction of the load results from the direction of deflection of the pointer.
According to the display, which is constant for the entire duration of the journey, the DC excitation voltage corresponding to the unbalanced load must then be reduced during the braking period at the deflection corresponding to the direction of the driven load, at which the drive load corresponds to . to worsen the rash. This setting of the excitation voltage can be done manually or by means of a servomotor. For automatic regulation of the DC excitation voltage, two asynchronous motors r and s can also be used, as shown in FIG. 4 of the drawing.
One is connected in series with the part of the copier motor that is fed from the network b via the transformer y, the other is connected upstream of the stator of the conveyor motor a using a current transformer t. Both motors act in opposition to one another on an axis ac on which a gear wheel v sits, which adjusts the control resistor to for the direct current excitation, which is supplied by a direct current machine n ge.
If the conveyor motor has to lift a positive load, the torque of the relay motor s connected to it predominates and changes the setting of the excitation until this excess torque is canceled out by the counter-torque of a spring x which is tensioned from the central position during adjustment .
If, on the other hand, a driving load is present, the torque of the relay motor connected to the copier motor predominates and changes the excitation in the opposite sense, also up to compensation by a spring y that is increasingly tensioned during adjustment: the balancing of the torques against each other and With regard to the counter-torque of the springs is done in a simple manner by changing the rotor resistances in the two relay motors.
