Description

Ei s stehen also zur Ausladung 0,77 - 0,59 = 0,

Back lathe for milling cutters and similar tools. The back turning of milling cutters, taps and other rotating tools requires a quick retraction of the Dreli steel after the actual working week has been completed so that the grooves required between the individual teeth are as narrow as possible and thus the tooth spine is longer, the milling cutter longer lifeguards.

The sudden retraction of the turning tool is brought about by a cam disk mounted on the same or parallel axes as the workpiece, on which a sliding thumb works. After each tooth of the still disc has run out, the steel clamped in a horizontally movable support or in a pendulum frame suddenly jumps back to the area of the workpiece. Here is the rotational speed; Z, of the workpiece a uniform.

In known back-turning lathes, this speed is in a very specific ratio to the groove width of the milling cutter to be back-turned. At higher speeds, the width of the groove must naturally increase, because the turning tool needs a certain time corresponding to the length of the retraction path of the steel for the sudden retraction caused by the sliding of the contour from the cam disk.

which must always remain the same in all cases with the same route of withdrawal.

Before the steel starts to cut to the next tooth of the workpiece, it must have reached its original rest position. So he must not start the cut for the next tooth while he is still in the vibration caused by the movement or on the way back. If the length of a tooth of the workpiece to be undercut is assumed to be 10 mm, for example, the groove width to 3 mm and the working time for the chip removal is each Tooth one.

Second, the workpiece covers a path of 13 mm per second as it rotates each tooth including the groove. The steel remains as a way to perform the retraction, measured on the circumference of the Werlmtückes, the groove width of 3 mm, while it has time or 0.23 seconds To be available.

If, however, the work performance is to be accelerated, ie a faster production of the - piece is to be achieved, then its speed would have to be controlled.

According to this - would see the time remaining for the style to return to # decrease. He wouldn't find tD t> any more time. to return to its starting point, and would already cut the front edge of the following tooth. The only way to prevent this disadvantage would be to enlarge the groove width. However, this would result in other major disadvantages.

Each individual tooth on the milling cutter would be narrower and its service life would be shorter. The groove widths would deviate from the normally established ones and the milling cutter would have an unnatural appearance.

From this it can be seen that the number of rotations of the workpiece to be undercut is generally limited in the known undercut lathes, which cannot be exceeded if the disadvantages described are not to be accepted. However, this means that work performance is not allowed.

-While the setting for the division for the different numbers of teeth is still reasonably achievable - be it by replacing, copying with different teeth. be it by switching on track wheels - so it is. Change in the penetration depth of the individual teeth due to imperfect.

This also applies. For such, one-off relays, in which the turning steel is clamped in an inverted arrangement in the support11 and the workpiece shaft is mounted eccentrically to the drive shaft in a swinging frame, which can be seen by means of a thumb wheel sitting on the drive shaft Pendulum movement receives. However, there is no sudden tilting away of the plant.

Also in the case of the Hinterdrelibank according to the present invention, the - # Verlistüel # swelle is mounted in a pendulum rail; however, their rotation is also transmitted to a thumb disk that works together with a cam track that can be adjusted and locked. By adjusting them, both the pendulum deflection5 and the depth of the back-turning can be changed as required.

The correspondence between the number of teeth on the thumb disc and the workpiece: can be set by checking the corresponding gear ratios.

This eliminates the need to replace and store a large number of Daunienseheiben for the various Zaline numbers and, above all, for the different 1: lip-te.rd Drehiefev.

On the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 in a side view and in Fig. 2 in a top view, Filg. 3 shows a detail, and FIG. 4 shows the preliminary and subsequent healing.

The driving shaft b, on which the gear c is seated, is mounted in the) bench frame a . In addition, a pendulum frame d is mounted in points at e in the workbench Yestell a, which lie outside the pitch circle of the driving Zalinrades c.

This meshes with a gear J. whose in the pendulum frame d o # elarert i - t. The gear f drives middle.'t cles y a gear left, which L-1 iehfill .-- s supports in the pendulum frame d the shaft i used to clamp the workpiece, for example a milling cutter k, .

The torque is transmitted from gear left via gear 1 to the shaft in the pendulum frame d. A thumb disk sits on it ji. which in the example shown has twelve teeth, that is, as many as the milling cutter k being machined.

The thumbs ii 'of the disk n work together with a cam disk o, which can be rotated around the pin (I.' in the workbench frame a, and can be adjusted by means of a handle o '. The degree of adjustment can be adjusted using a button on the frame < B> a determine the intended, not drawn shala. The cam disc o can have a curved path that is struck from your center of the D ".iuinenselibe n after an arc of a circle.

The pendulum frame d would come to a standstill if the circular curve --leieliachsi "is set to the permanent disk n. For the inter- turning of the workpieces, the curve- ## elleibe o naeli rule of the Skila is a The pendulum swing and (in accordance with the depth of the posterior relief are

because the thumbs push away the pendulum frame d in an overly L - iiistimniLing way with the deflection given to them by the curve-circumferential disk o. When the thumbs 'U' are diverted from the carving disc o, the pendulum disc d suddenly falls back by the same amount and daii-Lit leads the cutter k- out of the area of the steel. The number of teeth on the thumb disk n is any number.

The necessary agreement #Aimniting with the Z "i.Iiiiezalil of the cutter k is brought about by identifying the transmission gears h and 1 .

The lead arises from the fact that the pendulum frame d describes a circle loop around its center point e located outside the partial circle of the driving gear c and moves in the same direction of rotation towards the rotating shaft p that is firmly clamped on the support q as indicated by the angle a in FIG.

In doing so, the gear wheel c forces the gear wheel f to unwind in the same direction. When the pendulum rail d oscillates back after the lady's disk n has slid off the cam disk o, there is a lag corresponding to the degree of advance.

Assume that a milling cutter to be undercut has ten teeth and turns around once in ten seconds. It then has a cycle time of one second for each tooth including the groove. The tooth length is 10 mm, the groove width is 3 Tnm, and the tooth spacing is 13 mm. Accordingly, the tooth length of 10 mm is covered in = 0.77 seconds. The rest of 0.23 seconds is available for the width of the groove and therefore the steel for the return.

As a result of the position of the point of oscillation e of the pendulum frame d outside the driving gear e, and the rolling of the wheels c and f on each other, there is an advance of 3 mm is achieved, as has been determined by tests. The milling cutter now covers a distance of 13 mm within the 0.77 seconds calculated above.

Since work is only done during a path length full 10 mm , the milling cutter needs to cover this 10 mm long path due to the lead instead 0.77 seconds only 0.77 - 0.59 seconds. Eg s stand for the projection 0.77 - 0, 59 = 0,

18 seconds more than a permanent one. Circulation speed with the well-known Hinterdrellbanks. A total of 0.23 + 0.18 = 0.41 seconds therefore remains for the milling cutter k to retreat from the area of the steel p . Since, however, only 0.23 seconds are required for the retraction, the cycle time - by 0.18 seconds each slot and i-iiithin the work performance dependent on the speed of the workpiece can be increased accordingly.

If, at the same time as the milling cutter is rotated in the direction of the circumference, a lateral, inclined rear relining is to be carried out, as has already been proposed in the case of inter-rotating supply lines with an interrupted drive by means of self-aligning slot guides, then the. Seliwing movement of the pendulum frame d can be used in a simple manner.

For this purpose, an adjustable tongue S '(Fig. 3) is attached to the pendulum frame d , which has symmetrical drainage tracks s of any shape.

With one of these it presses when the pendulum frame d is preselected against a displaceable pin r of the support q and causes it to shift sideways at the same time as the undercut in the milling cutter k. </ B> By turning the pin r to the right or left, a right or left back rotation is achieved.
