Description

  

  Charnière pour mètre pliant.    La présente invention a pour objet une  charnière pour mètre pliant.  



  Le dessin annexé donne, à titre d'exem  ple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de la  présente invention.  



  La     fig.    1 est une vue en plan d'une pre  mière forme d'exécution;  La     fig.    2 en est une vue en coupe suivant  la ligne     A-B    de la     fig.    1;  La     fig.    3 est une vue en plan d'une     se-          seconde    forme d'exécution;  La     fig.    4 en est une vue en coupe suivant  la ligne     C-D    de la     fig.    3.  



  Cette charnière comporte deux plaques 1  et l', fixées chacune à l'extrémité des élé  ments 2 de mètre     pliant    qu'ils doivent réunir;  à cet effet, les bords des plaquettes 1 sont  rabattus sur les faces latérales inclinées de  l'élément 2 et les aspérités 3 prévues dans le  fond de la plaquette 1 sont enfoncées dans la  face de l'élément 2.  



  Les plaquettes 1 et l' sont réunies par un  axe 4 qui les traverse et autour duquel elles  peuvent pivoter, dans le but de permettre de  plier ou déplier le mètre. Cet axe 4 est muni  d'une tête 5 sous laquelle prend appui un    ressort à lame 6 dont les extrémités reposent  sur la plaquette 1. L'axe 4 est maintenu au  moyen d'une rondelle 7 sur laquelle il est  rivé et qui appuie sur la face de la pla  quette l'.  



  La plaquette 1 porte un bossage 8     dans     lequel peut pénétrer une partie en relief 9  prévue à la plaquette l' lorsque les éléments  2 sont exactement     supperposés,    c'est-à-dire  lorsque le mètre est entièrement     plié    ou dé  plié, ce qui permet de maintenir les éléments  2 dans l'une ou l'autre de ces positions.  



  Chaque élément 2 est muni d'une ouver  ture 10 permettant de rendre visible la ron  delle 7 ou la tête 5 sur la face de l'élément 2.  



  Suivant la seconde forme d'exécution, la  charnière comporte les mêmes éléments; ce  pendant le ressort à lame 6 est remplacé par  un ressort hélicoïdal 11.

  The appended drawing gives, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the present invention.



  Fig. 1 is a plan view of a first embodiment; Fig. 2 is a sectional view along the line A-B of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 is a plan view of a second embodiment; Fig. 4 is a sectional view along the line C-D of FIG. 3.



  This hinge comprises two plates 1 and 1 ', each fixed to the end of the elements 2 of the folding rule which they must join together; to this end, the edges of the plates 1 are folded over the inclined side faces of the element 2 and the asperities 3 provided in the bottom of the plate 1 are pressed into the face of the element 2.



  The plates 1 and 1 'are joined by an axis 4 which passes through them and around which they can pivot, in order to allow the meter to be folded or unfolded. This pin 4 is provided with a head 5 under which a leaf spring 6 bears, the ends of which rest on the plate 1. The pin 4 is held by means of a washer 7 on which it is riveted and which presses on the face of the plate.



  The plate 1 carries a boss 8 into which can penetrate a raised part 9 provided for the plate 1 'when the elements 2 are exactly superimposed, that is to say when the rule is fully folded or unfolded, which allows to keep the elements 2 in one or the other of these positions.



  Each element 2 is provided with an opening 10 making it possible to make the ron delle 7 or the head 5 visible on the face of the element 2.



  According to the second embodiment, the hinge has the same elements; this during the leaf spring 6 is replaced by a coil spring 11.

Claims

CLAIM Hinge for a folding rule, comprising two plates joined by a pin provided with a head under which bears a spring, at least one end of which rests on one of the plates, this pin being held by means of a washer to which it is riveted and which presses on the face of the second plate, the head and the washer being intended to be visible on the face of the element of the folding rule to which the hinge is attached.
