Beleuchtungsvorrichtung an Nähmaschinen.
Lighting device on sewing machines. The present invention is a lighting device on sewing machines.
According to the invention, this purpose is achieved by the fact that the lighting device is attached to the machine body and is arranged behind the horizontal arm of the same on one side of the vertical plane laid by the feed line of the material.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown diagrammatically on a sewing machine by FIG. 1 and in plan view by FIG. 2; Figure 3 is a diagram of a cover plate which serves as a support for the lamp.
The drawing shows a sewing machine of the usual type, mounted on a portable base plate 1. 2 denotes the flat frame plate from which the stand 3 with the horizontal arm 3 'and head 4 rises. 5 denotes the presser bar with the presser foot 7 and 6 the needle bar with the needle B. The presser foot 7 works with the usual fabric feed claw 9 and the usual gripper under the plate 2 with the needle. The machine is expediently driven by a motor, not shown, but can also be driven in other ways.
In the knee between the stand 3 and arm 3 \ the machine body has an opening 10, which shares access to the machines mounted in the arm and is placed on the side of the frame facing away from the worker.
The lighting device shown is attached to the cover plate 11, which is used to close the opening 10. This cover plate is provided with a hole 12 for receiving the usual cover plate head screw 13. The cover plate 11 has a right angle to the rear from bent flap 15, on which the Lam penhülse 14 is rigidly attached. A hole 16 in the tab 15 receives the nipple 17 screwed into the cap 18 of the lamp sleeve 14. The insulating sleeve 20 of the lamp cord 21 is screwed into a thread 19 of the nipple 17.
The lamp sleeve 14 carries the cylindrical lamp 22 and a Re reflector 23, which dims the lamp against the worker who throws the light rays against the workpiece.
It can be seen that the lamp is arranged behind the horizontal arm 3 'and to the side of the head? - and the vertical plane laid by the feed line of the machine. The axis of the lamp sleeve 14 and the lamp? @) Is slightly lower than the axis of the horizontal arm 3 '. As a result, the light falls obliquely in relation to the worker from the right on the work piece and illuminates the right cantle. of the presser foot,
along which the seam of the work piece is routed Lich. This arrangement of the light duels avoids the casting of shadows on the work piece by machine parts carried by the stand 3 and arm 3 '. Furthermore, the lamp is not subjected to excessive vibrations, since it is attached to the starting point of the arm 31, where the vibrations are smallest, and very close to the machine body. Then the lamp is arranged within the vertical plane laid by the edges of the frame plate 2 '.
so that it does not interfere with sinking the machine into the recess provided for this purpose in the usual frame or putting on the cover of a portable machine.
The plate 11 has a support projection 23 which is bent towards the edge and prevents the lamp from sinking out of its normal position by resting on the edge of the seat for the plate 11. The lamp can be supported by other means than the top plate.
