Abstract

La presente solicitud se refiere a un conector extremo para un tubo alojado en una cavidad que comprende: una ménsula que tiene un primer espaldón de apoyo opuesto a un puerto de la cavidad; un anillo de compresión dispuesto contra el primer espaldón de apoyo de la ménsula y configurado para recibir al tubo a través del mismo, el anillo de compresión define un vacío que tiene una extensión axial y una extensión radial; un inserto configurado para ser recibido en el interior del tubo, de manera que el inserto se traslape y se extienda más allá del anillo de compresión; y un sujetador para conectar la ménsula con el puerto, para acercar la ménsula axialmente al puerto, con lo que el anillo de compresión es comprimido entre el primer espaldón de apoyo y el puerto para sellar el puerto, y de manera que el vacío definido por el anillo de compresión se deforme; en donde la deformación del vacío reduce su extensión axial y aumenta su extensión radial, comprimiendo así al tubo contra el inserto. Además, la presente invención se refiere a un método para instalar un tubo en una cavidad.
