Abstract

Una celda de flotación magneto-centrífuga para concentración de minerales que reduce el consumo de agua, la cual está compuesta por un contenedor tubular que actúa como cámara para procesar la pulpa de mineral y medios para proveer un campo magnético, donde dicho contenedor tubular comprende: un primer tramo de generación de las burbujas turbulentas; un segundo tramo de corriente de burbujas de flujo estabilizado; un extremo en el cual se localiza una primera cara. Donde se localizan al menos una entrada de aire, y en un costado de dicho contenedor tubular y cerca a dicha cara posee una entrada de alimentación de mineral; un segundo extremo donde se localiza una segunda cara que posee una salida concéntrica de material, y en un costado cercano a dicha cara está localizada una salida lateral excéntrica; medios para generar un campo magnético axial localizado en el contorno exterior del contenedor tubular; una carcasa que cubre dichos medios para generar un campo magnético axial. Un proceso de flotación magneto-centrífuga para la concentración de minerales que reduce el consumo de agua.
