EL MODELO SE ALIMENTA CON DATOS OPERACIONALES EN RELACIÓN CON LOS PARÁMETROS DE ENTRADA PRIMARIOS Y, UTILIZANDO EL MODELO, SE OBTIENEN LOS VALORES TEÓRICOS PARA LOS PARÁMETROS DE SALIDA PRIMARIOS. LOS VALORES TEÓRICOS SE COMPARAN CON LOS VALORES MEDIDOS. EN CASO DE UNA DESVIACIÓN SIGNIFICATIVA, EL PARÁMETRO DE SALIDA PRIMARIO Y CORRESPONDIENTE SE CONVIERTE EN UN PARÁMETRO DE ENTRADA SECUNDARIO EN UN MODELO INVERSO QUE COMPRENDE NUEVOS PARÁMETROS DE SALIDA SECUNDARIOS QUE SE AÑADEN CON RESPECTO AL MODELO DIRECTO Y QUE CORRESPONDEN A LOS PARÁMETROS DE ENTRADA PRIMARIOS.
