<p>LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN PROPORCIONA UN MÉTODO PARA REMOVER SODIO DE UNA CORRIENTE DE PROCESO HIDROMETAÚRGICO QUE COMPRENDE CLORURO DE AMONIO, CLORURO DE NÍQUEL, CLORURO DE COBRE, CLORURO DE COBALTO, Y/O CLORURO DE MAGNESIO, COMPRENDIENDO LAS ETAPAS DE: (A) RETIRAR UNA CORRIENTE DE PURGA DE LICORES Y/O SUSPENSIONES DEL PROCESO HIDROMETAÚRGICO DE LA CORRIENTE DEL PROCESO HIDROMETAÚRGICO; (B) EVAPORAR EL AGUA DE LA CORRIENTE DE PURGA PARA OBTENER UNA SOLUCIÓN SATURADA QUE CONTIENE SODIO; (C) CRISTALIZAR UNA PARTE DEL CLORURO DE SODIO COMPRENDIDA EN LA SOLUCIÓN SATURADA QUE CONTIENE SODIO DE DICHA SOLUCIÓN PARA OBTENER UNA SOLUCIÓN AGOTADA DE SODIO; Y (D) DEVOLVER LA SOLUCIÓN AGOTADA DE SODIO A LA CORRIENTE DEL PROCESO HIDROMETAÚRGICO.</p>
