<p>LA INVENCIÓN SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA PREPARAR UNA ESPONJA CELULÓSICA QUE COMPRENDE TRATAR UNA SUSPENSIÓN ACUOSA DE FIBRAS DE CELULOSA CON PERIODATO; AJUSTAR EL PH DE LA SUSPENSIÓN DE FIBRAS DE CELULOSA DIALDEHÍDO RESULTANTE A 2,5 A 5,5; CONGELAR LA SUSPENSIÓN OBTENIDA Y DESCONGELAR LA ESTRUCTURA TRIDIMENSIONAL PARA PROPORCIONAR LA ESPONJA CELULÓSICA. EL PROCESO PUEDE COMPRENDER ADEMÁS UN PASO DE SECADO PARA PROPORCIONAR UNA ESPUMA CELULÓSICA. TANTO LA NUEVA ESPONJA COMO LA NUEVA ESPUMA DE LA INVENCIÓN PUEDEN TAMBIÉN MODIFICARSE QUÍMICAMENTE OBTENIENDO UNA AMPLIA VARIEDAD DE DERIVADOS CON PROPIEDADES A MEDIDA ÚTILES EN MUCHAS APLICACIONES DIFERENTES.</p>
