Abstract
<p>Un método de limpieza en el lugar para mantener la transferencia óptica a través de un medio de transferencia de luz conectado operativamente a un sistema de caldera, CARACTERIZADO porque el método comprende: contactar una corriente de líquido de caldera con una superficie humedecida de un medio de transferencia de luz en comunicación óptica con un sensor óptico; ingresar datos relacionados con un parámetro del líquido de caldera medido por el sensor óptico a un esquema de control de un sistema de caldera; aislar electrónicamente el sensor óptico del esquema de control manteniendo al mismo tiempo el control del sistema de caldera en base a los datos de entrada relacionados con el parámetro del líquido de caldera; contactar un agente químico líquido con la superficie humedecida del medio de transferencia de luz, comprendiendo el agente químico líquido un componente seleccionado de un ácido, un quelante, un agente reductor, o combinaciones de los mismos, durante un período de tiempo y en una concentración suficiente para limpiar la superficie humedecida del medio de transferencia de luz; y desaislar electrónicamente el sensor óptico del esquema de control.</p>
