Abstract

<p>Una bandeja de hielo, apta para la formación de piezas de hielo con geometría esférica, que se divide en dos partes principales, una base y una cubierta; la base tiene forma cilíndrica con una región central levemente abombada y más pequeña en relación a las regiones inferior y superior de la base; la porción superior de la base tiene un reborde de mayor diámetro, que define un escalón; la porción inferior de la base tiene dos concavidades semicirculares en los laterales y diametralmente opuestas; por dentro, la base tiene una primera cavidad semiesférica, conectada a las paredes de la base mediante una región intermedia, que define una primera región plana, una segunda región plana y al menos un surco circundante. En la región de cubierta tiene dos solapas diametralmente opuestas que facilitan tanto el retiro de la pieza de hielo como también sirven como soporte para el apilado seguro y eficiente de las bandejas de hielo</p>
