EL MÉTODO PROVEE UN MEDIO PARA CONTROLAR LA TEMPERATURA DE UNA ZONA DE REACCIÓN SEGÚN SE MIDE EN UN PUNTO DE ENTRADA DE REACTIVO Y EN UN PUNTO DE SALIDA DE REACTIVO. EL PH DE LA REACCIÓN SE CONTROLA Y LA REACCIÓN FINALIZA CUANDO LA MEZCLA DE REACCIÓN HA ALCANZADO UN PH DE ENTRE APROXIMADAMENTE 5,5 Y APROXIMADAMENTE 7,5.
