Abstract

A portable light (10) may comprise: a light housing (20) including a first housing (30) and a light head (40) that is pivotable relative to the first housing (30); one or more light sources (43, L1, L2) including an illumination light source (43) in the light head (40); and an electrical switch (22, 208) for selectively energizing the one or more light sources (43, L1, L2). Other features of the light (10) may include: a detector (HS) of the pivoted position of the light head (40) relative to the first housing (30) for energizing and/or de-energizing one or more the light sources (43, L1, L2), a rear facing light source (L1, L2) that may have one or more light sources, or an elongated clip (50), or a privotable elongated clip (50), or one or more accessories mountable to a clip (50), or a combination thereof.
