Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para aumentar la tolerancia al estrés abiótico y/o para reducir la consecuencia del estrés abiótico en una planta y/o parte de ella. En algunos aspectos, el método comprende poner en contacto una planta y/o su parte con una primera composición que comprende uno o más de aminoguanidina, L–nitroarginina, éster metílico de L–nitroarginina, 2,2’–bipiridina, 4–metilpirazol, 8–hidroxiquinilina, ácido caprílico, pirazol, naringenina, kaempferol, quercetina, ácido dodecanoico, y/o ácido undecanoico, y/o una de sus sales; y una segunda composición que comprende por lo menos un ácido dicarboxílico y/o una de sus sales.
