Abstract

Proporcionar un método de termoformado para la obtención de un artículo termoformado que exhibe excelente resistencia a la abrasión en algunas fracciones adheridas por fusión y excelente fuerza adhesiva entre las telas tejidas u otros tipos de artículos. Se prepara polietileno con un índice de fluidez, medido en condiciones de temperatura de 280 °C y carga de 2,16 kg, de 10 a 15 g/10 minutos, y tereftalato de polietileno. Mediante un método de hilado de fusión conjugado y el uso de tereftalato de polietileno como componente de alma y polietileno como componente de envoltura, se obtiene un hilo multifilamentoso en el cual se agrupan filamentos compuestos tipo alma con envoltura con una relación de masa de componente de alma:componente de envoltura de 1 a 4:1. Se obtiene un producto de filamentos entretejiendo, tejiendo, trenzando o enrollando el hilo multifilamentoso. El termoformado del producto de filamentos se efectúa mediante el calentamiento del producto de filamentos para fundir el polietileno, adhiriendo de este modo por fusión los filamentos compuestos tipo alma con envoltura entre sí, a la vez que el tereftalato de polietileno conserva su forma de filamento inicial.
