Abstract

Un inserto para perforar roca hecho de carburo cementado que comprende constituyentes de carburos duros de tungsteno (WC) en una fase aglutinante de Ni-Cr o Ni-Co-Cr y el resto de WC e impurezas inevitables, donde el carburo cementado comprende 3.5 a 18% en peso de fase aglutinante, la fase aglutinante comprende >0% en peso de Ni, la relación en masa de Cr/(Ni+Co) es 0.02 a 0.19, la diferencia entre la dureza a una profundidad de 0.3 mm en algún punto de la superficie del inserto para perforar roca y la dureza mínima de la masa del inserto para perforar roca es al menos 30 HV3.
