Abstract
La invención proporciona un método de adaptación de una barra de metal, para su uso como perno para roca, para garantizar que se romperá la barra de una manera predecible, incluyendo el método la etapa de retirar material de la barra en una banda circunferencial para reducir el diámetro de la barra dentro de la banda hasta un diámetro menor para proporcionar de ese modo una zona de fallo dentro de la cual se romperá la barra si se somete a una carga de tracción suficiente.
