Abstract

La presente invención describe un método para la vitrificación de semen humano que comprende proporcionar semen humano licuado; disponer de un medio de vitrificación, en donde el medio de vitrificación comprende: (a) un medio tampón o buffer de semen, y (b) una mezcla de crioprotectores que comprende un crioprotector permeable y un crioprotector no permeable; mezclar el semen licuado con el medio de vitrificación; proveer una pajuela de semen y cargar dicha pajuela con 0,25 a 0,5 mL de la mezcla obtenida; sellar la pajuela con calor; e introducir la pajuela en posición vertical en un recipiente con nitrógeno líquido para <br /> vitrificar la mezcla.
