Abstract

Se divulga un helióstato para rastrear el sol. El helióstato comprende un marco (104) con patas (102), un conjunto óptico (120) configurado para colgar entre las patas del marco por medio de una pluralidad de cables (130) y una pluralidad de accionadores (520) configurados para cambiar la orientación del conjunto óptico mediante la pluralidad de cables. El conjunto óptico puede incluir un espejo (122) o un panel fotovoltaico que rastrea el sol y un respaldo de hormigón (610). El conjunto óptico puede incluir además un controlador de seguimiento (150) para energizar la pluralidad de actuadores, celda fotovoltaica (252) configurada para alimentar el controlador de seguimiento y los actuadores, conjunto de limpieza (1710) y depósito (770) para capturar agua de lluvia en el conjunto óptico. El conjunto óptico puede incluir además una cámara (254) para capturar imágenes del marco y determinar la orientación del conjunto óptico basándose en las imágenes.
