Abstract

Una o más técnicas y/o sistemas se revelan para mitigar la pérdida de fluido o fuga de una bomba de fluido con un eje rotatorio que acciona un mecanismo de bombeo. Un componente de prensa estopas puede tener un sello interno formado por dos juntas tóricas dinámicas que permiten el uso de lubricantes a altas presiones, como también un sello externo para una mayor prevención de la pérdida de fluidos. Además, el componente de la prensa estopas puede ser una modificación de los componentes de la prensa estopas existentes para proporcionar una mayor vida útil y eficiencia en comparación con los componentes de las prensa estopas existentes. Adicionalmente, en algunas implementaciones, se puede unir un manguito de manera fija al eje giratorio entre la prensa estopas y el eje para proporcionar un punto de desgaste para la prensa estopas.
