Abstract

La presente invención exhibe y describe un método para producir, al menos, un cuerpo conformado, que comprende óxido de magnesio y carbonato de calcio, donde el método comprende las etapas de: a) proporcionar los siguientes componentes: 1) un componente de óxido de magnesio, que tiene las siguientes propiedades, en cada caso, basado en el peso total del componente de óxido de magnesio: i) contenido de óxido de magnesio en la sustancia seca superior a 70% en peso, ii) pérdida por calcinación inferior a 25% en peso, iii) contenido de óxido de calcio libre inferior a 5% en peso, 2) un componente de carbonato de calcio, donde los componentes en su conjunto tienen un contenido de óxido de calcio libre inferior a 2% en peso, basado en el peso total de los componentes; b) mezclar los componentes (1) y (2) para obtener una mezcla; c) formar, al menos, un cuerpo conformado, a partir de la mezcla obtenida en (b) con la adición de agua.
