Abstract
Un sistema y método para dimensionar y separar partículas granulares dentro de los sólidos granulares a granel creando un flujo granular graduado que comprende fracciones de múltiples tamaños con gradación de las partículas de acuerdo con el tamaño de partícula entre fracciones relativamente finas y fracciones relativamente gruesas; y capturar al menos una porción del flujo granular. El sistema (11) comprende medios (25) para crear el flujo granular graduado y medios (30) para capturar al menos una porción del flujo granular graduado. El flujo granular graduado se divide en corrientes separadas, una de las cuales se captura posteriormente interceptando esa corriente.
