Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a enzimas quitinolíticas, y en particular para un uso de las mismas en la protección de plantas. La invención también se refiere a un ácido nucleico que codifica una enzima quitinolítica un método para producir una enzima quitinolítica, una planta que comprende una enzima quitinolítica o un ácido nucleico que codifica la misma, una composición de al menos una enzima quitinolítica. La invención se refiere en particular al uso de una enzima quitinolítica o una composición que comprende la misma como un agente de protección de plantas y a un método para proteger a las plantas de las plagas.
