Abstract
Se describen diversos sistemas y métodos de registro para registrar datos, que se obtienen para una muestra, incluido un registrador de los tipos de materiales por infrarrojo que está configurado para: recibir espectros infrarrojos asociados con la muestra; procesar los espectros infrarrojos utilizando un algoritmo de aprendizaje (machine learning) automático pre entrenado o un algoritmo estadístico para generar una o ambas de las siguientes: una estimación inicial de la abundancia de los tipos de materiales para la muestra, en donde la estimación inicial de la abundancia de los tipos de materiales es una estimación de la presencia de uno o más tipos particulares de materiales dentro de la muestra y una estimación de la abundancia relativa de cada uno de dichos tipos de materiales, y una estimación inicial del porcentaje de trozos o terrones para la muestra; y almacenar la estimación inicial generada de la abundancia de los tipos de materiales y/o la estimación inicial del porcentaje de trozos o terrones en la memoria.
