Abstract
The present disclosure relates to allopolyploid plants and hybrid allopolyploid plants having desirable traits, such as resistance to an abiotic or biotic stressor, which may be used as rootstock for cultivated tomato varieties. The disclosure further relates to composite plants comprising the allopolyploid plants described herein as the rootstock. The disclosure further relates to methods of producing allopolyploid plants and plant parts, and hybrid allopolyploid plants and plant parts.
