Abstract
本发明提供一种使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,其阻燃性、着色性、耐水性优异而且无导体变色。本发明的电线、电缆在绝缘体、护套中使用了包含改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物并且添加了受酸剂的树脂组合物,所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物为将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃系树脂上的改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及:不含卤物质、铅、锑等有害重金属的环境友好型的,使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆。
背景技术
以往,作为电线、电缆用的包覆材料,使用有从柔软性、阻燃性、成本的角度考虑为最平衡的聚氯乙烯(PVC)。近年,由于迄今一直用作稳定剂的铅化合物在填埋废弃时其中的铅溶出到土中的问题,因此不使用铅的非铅PVC便成为主流。然而,即使使用非铅PVC,由于大量地含有作为卤物质的氯,因此担心在焚烧时会产生有害的氯系气体,担心会因焚烧条件而产生有害的二噁英。
最近,作为无卤电线、电缆用包覆材料,不使用氯乙烯、卤系阻燃剂的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物普及起来。
这些无卤阻燃性树脂组合物向乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯、乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙烯-α烯烃共聚物、低密度聚乙烯等软质的聚烯烃树脂中添加了氢氧化镁、氢氧化铝等金属氢氧化物(专利文献1)。
在这些无卤阻燃性树脂组合物中,为了赋予高的阻燃性,因而多量地添加有以氢氧化镁为代表的无机金属氢氧化物。但是,当多量地填充无机金属氢氧化物时,出现了树脂组合物的挤出加工性、机械特性显著降低的问题。因此,采用了如下技术:通过组合使用红磷和金属氢氧化物来减少所添加的阻燃剂的总量(专利文献2)。

发明内容
但是,红磷在浸水时,一部分在水中会离子化而溶出,当添加于树脂时,会降低绝缘电阻,这被视为问题。
特别是,就电线、电缆而言,要求具有各种各样的色相,但是由于含有红磷的树脂组合物着色为红紫色因而色相受限,因此可适用的电线、电缆的品种受到限定。
因此,本发明的目的在于解决上述课题,提供使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,其阻燃性、着色性、耐水性优异而且无导体变色。
为了达到上述目的,技术方案1的发明为:使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,其特征在于,在绝缘体、护套(sheath)中使用了包含改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物并且添加了受酸剂的树脂组合物,所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物为将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃系树脂上的改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物。
技术方案2的发明为:技术方案1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,上述受酸剂包含选自金属氧化物、金属碳酸盐、金属氢氧化物中的至少一种的化合物。
技术方案3的发明为:技术方案1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,上述受酸剂为碳酸钙。
技术方案4的发明为:技术方案1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,上述受酸剂的添加量相对于上述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物100质量份为1~250质量份。
技术方案5的发明为:技术方案1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,其特征在于,上述电线、电缆在湿热环境下使用。
根据本发明,可发挥如下优异效果:可获得阻燃性、着色性、耐水性优异而且无导体变色的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆。

具体实施方式
以下,基于所附的附图来详述本发明的优选的一个实施方式。
首先,通过图1~3来说明使用了本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆的实例。
图1为在铜导体1上包覆有绝缘体2的电线10,绝缘体2通过后述的本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物来制备。
图2为电线、电缆11的示意图,所述电线、电缆11通过如下形成:将在铜导体1上包覆有绝缘体2的3线芯(線芯)的电线10与介质4一同捻合,施用压卷带5,挤出包覆最外层作为护套3。护套3通过后述的本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物来制备。
图3为电缆11的示意图,所述电缆11通过如下形成:将在铜导体1上包覆绝缘体2而成的物体作为绝缘线芯6,将该绝缘线芯6成对捻合成对捻线7、将4根对捻线7捻合成核8、在该核8的外周施用金属屏蔽层(shield)9、挤出包覆护套3。护套3通过后述的本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物来制备。
形成图1~图3所示的绝缘体2和护套3的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物为将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃系树脂的改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物,为了在湿热环境下使用时抑制铜导体的变色,而在上述树脂组合物中添加了受酸剂。
本发明人等认为,作为无卤阻燃性树脂组合物,不是如以往那样向树脂中多量地添加阻燃剂,而是使树脂本身阻燃化,将该树脂应用于电线、电缆的绝缘体、护套。
作为阻燃化方法,认为导入阻燃性高的磷元素是有效的,考虑了将透明并且含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝入树脂。
另外,采用该接枝树脂来开发无卤阻燃性树脂组合物,锐意研究了在电线、电缆中的应用。
就接枝树脂的阻燃性而言,可通过提高接枝树脂中所含的磷的量、即单位 质量中的磷浓度来提高阻燃性。
使用无卤阻燃性树脂组合物,实际地制备如图1~3所示的电线、电缆,进行阻燃性试验,结果如下明显可知磷浓度和阻燃性的关系。
已知,为了JIS60度倾斜燃烧试验合格,接枝树脂中的磷浓度需要为至少0.5质量%以上。
另外,即使在磷浓度不足0.5质量%的情况下,也可通过适宜地加入三聚氰胺氰脲酸酯(melamine cyanurate)等阻燃剂,使得上述阻燃试验合格。
已知,为了垂直托架燃烧试验等垂直燃烧试验合格,要求较高的磷浓度,需要磷浓度至少为2.5质量%以上。
进一步,本发明人等确认了,可通过将受酸剂混合于通过将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃树脂而成的树脂中,来抑制导体的变色。
由于可认为导体变色的原因是在湿热环境下磷酸化合物发生游离,因此推定了,由于受酸剂捕捉磷酸化合物,因此可有效地抑制变色。作为受酸剂,优选使用便宜且可发挥充分效果的碳酸钙。
在本发明中,所谓湿热环境是指,连续地或者断续地处于温度30℃以上、湿度70%以上的状态。
本发明所使用的聚烯烃树脂包括:低密度聚乙烯、直链状低密度聚乙烯、直链状超低密度聚乙烯等聚乙烯,乙烯与丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、乙酸乙烯酯、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、1-丁烯、丙烯等的共聚物,SEBS、SEB、SIS、SEEPS、StEt共聚物等乙烯系弹性体,马来酸接枝低密度聚乙烯等。
在本发明所使用的将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃树脂而成的树脂中,特别是每一分子的含磷量越高则效果越好,在本发明中优选使用10质量%以上的含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物。
就本发明所使用的含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物而言,优选每一分子的含磷量为10质量%以上,适宜的是化学式1、化学式2、化学式3和化学式4所示的乙烯基膦酸二乙酯、乙烯基膦酸二甲酯、二苯基乙烯基氧化膦、乙烯基膦酸二苯酯。

为了将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃树脂,需要向共存有乙烯基磷(ビニルリン)和聚烯烃的体系内导入自由基。作为导入自由基的方法,可考虑:通过热、光使有机过氧化物、偶氮化合物分解的方法,照射电子射线或γ射线的方法等。
作为有机过氧化物,可使用:酮过氧化物类、过氧化缩酮类、氢过氧化物类、二烷基过氧化物类、二酰基过氧化物类、过氧化二碳酸酯类、过氧化酯类等。
在本发明中,受酸剂的添加量相对于将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃树脂而成的树脂100质量份的1~250质量份;当添加量少于1质量份时,无法获得作为受酸剂的效果,当多于250质量份时,无法满足电线、电缆所要求的机械特性,更优选为5~200质量份。
作为受酸剂,可使用金属氧化物、金属碳酸盐、金属氢氧化物。其中,这些受酸剂可单独使用,也可混合使用。
作为上述金属氧化物,可使用氧化镁、氧化钙、氧化钡、硼酸锌。
作为上述金属氢氧化物,可使用氢氧化镁、氢氧化钙、氢氧化钡、羟基锡酸锌、水滑石。
作为上述金属碳酸盐,可使用碳酸镁、碳酸钙、碳酸钡、碳酸锌、白云石、碳酸钙镁。
这些受酸剂都是白色,在着色性上没有任何问题。
另外,除了上述受酸剂以外,根据需要,可加入抗氧化剂、润滑剂、稳定剂、着色剂、加工助剂、交联剂、交联助剂、铜毒抑制剂、抗静电剂、紫外线吸收剂、光稳定剂。
本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物,不仅可应用于电线的绝缘体,还可应用于电缆的护套。
实施例
使用了本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线、电缆,如下进行制备。
首先,按照表1所示的配合来制备接枝树脂#1~#5。

作为聚合物的聚烯烃树脂,使用EVA、EEA、LDPE;作为乙烯基磷,相对于该聚合物100质量份而言,准备了以乙烯基膦酸二乙酯(含磷量:约19质量%)或乙烯基膦酸二甲酯(含磷量:约23质量%)、磷酸聚氧化乙烯聚氧化丙烯乙烯酯(含磷量:约6质量%)为目的的、对应于磷浓度的份量;向其中适量地溶入过氧化二异丙苯(DCP),浸渍于聚烯烃树脂中后,通过设定为180℃的挤出机进行挤出反应,从而制备接枝树脂。
将所制备的接枝树脂的组成和通过荧光X射线分析(RIX2000,Rigaku公司)测定的含磷量列于表1。
使用表1的接枝树脂#1~#5,按照表2所示的组成,添加各种主配合剂,通过加压捏合机在150℃混炼后,在160℃将其以0.8mm的厚度挤出包覆在导体直径为2.0mm的铜导体1上,从而制备出图1~3所说明的电线的绝缘体2。
电线、电缆的评价根据以下所示方法来判定。
(1)拉伸试验
依照JIS C 3005,对所制备的电线进行拉伸试验,以拉伸强度10MPa以上、伸长率350%以上为目标值。
(2)倾斜燃烧试验
依照JIS C 3612,对所制备的电线进行60度倾斜燃烧试验。在30秒着火之后,在60秒以内自己熄灭的,设为○(合格)。
(3)垂直燃烧试验
依照IEEE 383,对所制备的电线进行垂直托架燃烧试验,延烧距离不足180cm的,设为○(合格)。
(4)导体变色试验
在温度60℃、湿度95%的恒温恒湿槽内,对所制备的电线进行14天加热后,去除包覆材料,通过目视来观察导体的变色。没有变色的,设为○(合格)。
(5)浸水试验
将所制备的电线浸渍于75℃的自来水中2000小时后,测定绝缘电阻。绝缘电阻为100MΩ·Km以上的,设为○(合格)。
将通过使用本发明的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物而制备的实施例1~13、还有与上述同样地制备的比较例1~5汇总示于表2中。
如表2所示,实施例1~13的无卤阻燃性树脂组合物为,即,向接枝树脂#1~#5中添加了碳酸钙、碳酸镁、氢氧化镁、水滑石、氧化镁中的任一种受酸剂,满足了机械特性、耐水性、阻燃性的目标,而且未看到导体变色。
具体而言,就实施例5~12而言,由于磷浓度为2.5质量%以上,因此,在60度倾斜燃烧试验和垂直托架燃烧试验中合格,相比较于因为磷浓度不足2.5质量%所以仅在60度倾斜燃烧试验中合格的实施例1~4、13而言,阻燃性优异。
与此相对,就比较例1~4而言,虽然使用了接枝树脂1~4,但由于没有添加受酸剂,因此虽然满足机械特性、耐水性、阻燃性的目标,但是确认发生了导体变色。
另外,就实施例13、比较例5而言,虽然使用了接枝树脂#5(磷元素浓度0.1质量%)、磷浓度不足0.5质量%,但由于添加了三聚氰胺氰脲酸酯作为阻燃剂,因此在60度倾斜燃烧试验中合格。但是,就比较例5而言,由于没有添加受酸剂,因此,确认发生了导体变色。与此相对,就添加了受酸剂的实施例13而言,在导体变色方面获得改善。
Claims (8)
1.一种使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线,其特征在于,在绝缘体中使用了包含改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物并且添加了受酸剂的树脂组合物,所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物为将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃系树脂上的改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物,所述受酸剂包含选自金属氧化物、金属碳酸盐中的至少一种的化合物,且捕捉游离的磷酸化合物。
2.根据权利要求1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线,其特征在于,所述受酸剂为碳酸钙。
3.根据权利要求1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线,其特征在于,所述受酸剂的添加量相对于所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物100质量份为1~250质量份。
4.根据权利要求1所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电线,其特征在于,所述电线在湿热环境下使用。
5.一种使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电缆,其特征在于,在绝缘体、护套中使用了包含改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物并且添加了受酸剂的树脂组合物,所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物为将含有乙烯基的磷酸化合物接枝于聚烯烃系树脂上的改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物,所述受酸剂包含选自金属氧化物、金属碳酸盐中的至少一种的化合物,且捕捉游离的磷酸化合物。
6.根据权利要求5所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电缆,其特征在于,所述受酸剂为碳酸钙。
7.根据权利要求5所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电缆,其特征在于,所述受酸剂的添加量相对于所述改性聚烯烃系树脂组合物100质量份为1~250质量份。
8.根据权利要求5所述的使用了无卤阻燃性树脂组合物的电缆,其特征在于,所述电缆在湿热环境下使用。
