Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于在不接地的小自由落体物品上产生均匀一致的液体或粉末包覆的工艺和设备。根据本发明的工艺和设备主要用于药品和食品的表面包覆。根据本发明,不接地物品采用适当的方法使之带上正电荷或负电荷,或完全不带电荷,然后使之主要是穿过大体为圆柱形的区域(2)沿其中轴线逐个自由下落,在该区域周围环绕布置至少一个并且最好是两个喷嘴(3)并使其基本直对其中轴线,借助这些喷嘴,将采用适当的方式首先带上一种与物品所带电荷极性相反的电荷的(或根本不带电荷的)包覆物质喷洒到颗粒物上,在其中,因为包覆物质和物品之间存在的电位差,包覆物质就被吸引到物品工,从而获得均匀一致的包覆。
Description
本发明涉及一种不接地的小下落物体的静电表面包覆工艺和设备。更准确地说,本发明涉及一种用于在不接地的小自由落体上产生均匀一致的液体或粉末包覆的工艺和设备。根据本发明的这种工艺和设备主要用于药品的包覆以及食品的表面包覆。
片状药品的表面包覆既有医疗、实际需要的原因,又有美观的原因。例如包覆可以促进投药,隐藏讨厌的味道,改进药品的机械性能,保护药品的活性剂不受唾液或胃液的破坏。包覆还可以实现在人体内有控制地释放药物。
现在用来包覆药品的工艺包括将大量的药片放在一个倾斜的筒,如人们所熟知的涂敷锅,或放在水平安装的多孔缸中旋转,而同时将溶解在适当物质中的表面包覆物料倒入或喷洒到锅中。药片的旋转使药片在涂敷锅中沿锅面向上运动,然后在锅的中间由向上运动的药品形成的层面的顶部下落。随着包覆物料的溶剂的蒸发,物料就会淀积在药片上。
现有技术的一个大问题是药片最好是球形或至少是用中凸的圆形模具制作。其原因是带有边缘的药片会造成其上的包覆不匀。然而,现今生产的药片的形状通为平面圆形,即它们具有特殊的边缘表面以避免许多问题,例如药片覆盖或提高对药片生产机器的要求(深凹模,等等)中的问题。现今采用的包覆工艺是批处理,而且每批还都经过大量手工操作步骤。能耗相对高,噪音大。占地面积大,通风要求高。而且这些工艺耗时长。
糖果的包覆,例如,一种称为“Non-Stop(嘴不停)”的巧克力糖,就是经常采用类似的方法制作。
最近,开发了被称作高速药品包覆法的方法,尽管如此,要获得制成的糖衣果仁所需的时间大约是一至两个工作日。药片包覆的物质的成本通常很便宜,只占包覆总成本的很小一部分。
同样为人所共知的是在流化床中进行包覆。在喷洒包覆材料时,药片由气体,最好是空气,推动,向上运动通过流化床。
人们了解小物体静电包覆工艺已经有一段时间了。在先前已知的技术中通常具有的共同特点是需要包覆的物体要接地,例如可参见美国专利No4,774,102,其中述了一种无接地物体的静电喷洒包覆工艺。
药品静电包覆过去也有披露,例如,在WO 92/14451就描述了这样一种工艺。根据该出版物描述的工艺,药品是用干粉进行包覆,在所采用的工艺中药品放置在传送设备上用粉末进行包覆。利用药品和粉末之间或传输设备和粉末之间的电位差将粉末吸引到药品上。在这种方法中,药品与传输设备接触的那些部分就无法包覆。粉末包覆要经过最后处理,如通过加热,在药品上形成一层溶化膜,然后,可采用同样的方法包覆药品的另一面。
这种已知的早期技术有一个很大的不足之处是,在绝大多数情况下要通过将物品放置在某种支撑上,例如放置在传送带上,来实现接地。这意味着要包覆的物品每次包覆一面,并且会有相当的风险出现在两个侧面的表面包覆区之间的边缘区形成一个棱边的情况。这又意味着包覆不是均匀一致的,而这对于要实现在人体中缓慢受控释放的药品包覆工艺来说却是特别重要的。
EP-B-0 085149描述了一种使用液体或粉末对不接地的物品进行静电包覆的工艺和设备。根据该工艺,借助一种固定的分布(布料器)系统,使要进行表面包覆的物品作为一个连续的沿非导电管壁的环状帘幕下落,并且物品在其中通过一个电晕区而带上正电荷。在管中心处放置了一个离心布料设备。在此设备中,要加到物品上的液体或颗粒形式的物料经过一个负电晕区而带上负电荷,并且通过这个设备,将物料喷洒到物品形成的连续帘幕上。这一工艺似乎主要是为了将诸如维生素、抗菌素以及胺等物质添加到不同的粉末和丸粒中,或使粉末形式的颗粒或团块润湿,而并不是药品包覆所必需的表面包覆形式。
在上述专利的描述部分中,给出了该发明的应用领域的许多例子,但是它们大都牵涉将某些物质添加到诸如脱脂乳粉、肥料、杀菌剂等类似的物料中。如果将该工艺用于表面包覆,会有一些严重的不足。其中很大风险是在连续帘幕中的物品会彼此碰撞或与管壁碰撞,从而导致新涂敷上的表面包覆中可能产生机械应力,这就会损坏包覆。而由于物品只从一个方向接受喷洒,也很难产生完全均匀的包覆。此外,在上述专利中,没有提到这种工艺能够产生药品包覆中所必需的坚硬表面。
根据本发明的静电表面包覆只需执行一至几个步骤并且可实现自动化。这种表面包覆可以连续进行并且可以与产品生产同步。而且,无需使物品带上静电。仅仅使包覆用物质带电就足够了,这一点对包覆药品特别有利,因为此种物品会受到可能的电荷的损害。
根据本发明,采用静电表面包覆方式对不接地的小自由落体包覆粉末形式或液体形式物质的特征在于物体可以以适当的方式带正电荷或负电荷。因为不带电荷的物品也可以采用本发明的概念进行包覆,这头一个步骤也可以省略。在物品可能带上电荷之后,使其通过主要为圆柱形的区域并基本上沿此区域的中轴线自由下落,并且在该区域周围环绕布置至少一个并且最好是两个喷嘴并使其基本直对其中轴线,借助这些喷嘴,将采用适当的方式首先带上一种与物品所带电荷极性相反的电荷(如果物品不带电荷,则此电荷极性可随意)的包覆物质喷洒到颗粒物上,此时因为物品和包覆物质之间存在的电位差,粉末或液体形式的物质就被吸引到物品上,从而获得均匀一致的表面包覆。
本发明也涉及一种用于对非接地的小自由落体物品利用粉末或液体形式物质进行静电表面包覆的设备,其特征在于它至少包括一个大体为圆柱形的区域,一个用于将带正电荷、带负电荷或不带电荷的物品向穿过大体上为圆柱形区域的中心部分提供的装置,并且包括用于将粉末或液体形状的带正电荷或带负电荷的物质朝着穿过圆柱形状区域的中心部分喷洒的装置。
下面将结合附图通过非限制性的最佳实施例详细描述本发明。对物品1,最好是需要包覆粉末或液体形式的物质表面层的药片,采用适当的现有技术方法,例如使其穿过电晕区(在图中未示出)或借助摩擦,而带上正电荷或负电荷。这头一个步骤也可以省略。之后,使带电荷或不带电荷的物品基本上逐个,最好是从中央穿过圆柱形的区域2,自由下落。在这一区域,物品被喷溅上粉末或液体形式的物质,反过来,通过一个或最好是两个在周围环绕设置的喷嘴将上述物质采用任何已知的方法使之首先带上正电荷或负电荷。如果仅仅使用一个喷嘴,它最好是环形的,并且大体上环绕整个区域2设置。喷嘴的设置主要是要直对区域2的垂直轴。一个控制和调整设备(图中未示出)以及一个适合的配料装置(图中未示出)保证喷洒进区域2的带电粉末或液体物质总是具有正确的体积、数量和位置。因为与自由下落的物品的电位差不同,粉末或液体的物质就被吸引到物品上并在物品表面上形成均匀一致的薄层。
然后,经过表面包覆的物品穿过区域4,在其中最好是通过回火、冷却、凝固、干燥或类似步骤使涂敷上的物质形成一个坚硬的薄层。
也可以使经过表面包覆的物品随后通过一个静电场5,在表面包覆物品接触到接地表面之前中和剩余的电荷。该步骤的目的是防止,否则的话,依然具有一些残余电荷的经过表面包覆的物品在接触到接地表面时会形成火花放电。
借助施加的电位差值可调节粉末或液体物质的表面包覆的厚度。
根据最佳实施例,只有形成表面包覆的液体或粉末物质带电荷,或正或负,而要包覆的物品是不带电的。
在区域2的下面设置一个栏栅区6来防止任何多余的表面包覆物料随已经包覆过的物品下落。
根据本发明的设备,可以直接连接到药片生产设备上,并直接在药片的生产过程中包覆药片。这意味着现今的作业和厂房的成本中的很大一部分都可以节省下来。这种所谓的直接包覆系统还可减少粉尘的形成并降低药品处理致损的危险。根据本发明的这种设备和工艺还可以大幅度降低噪音水平。
本发明主要是要用于对药品进行包覆,但是它同样可以用于胶囊、栓剂、丸粒的表面包覆,以及用于糖果和其它类似食物的表面包覆。在这些例子中,表面包覆可以是多种多样的,如糖、可可粉、碳酸钙、聚乙烯乙二醇、纤维素衍生物或聚丙烯酸脂。
本发明同样可以用于完全不同的领域例如用于电子元件的表面包覆或在机械工业中进行防锈保护。
本发明不受上述举例的局限,并可以在所附的专利权利要求的范围内用不同的方式进行修改。
Claims (9)
1.一种采用静电表面包覆方式对不接地的小自由落体物品进行包覆的工艺,其特征在于,使物品通过主要为圆柱形的区域(2)并基本上沿此区域的中轴线自由地及单个地下落,并且在该区域(2)周围环绕布置至少一个喷嘴(3),并使其基本直对其中轴线,借助这些喷嘴,将采用适当的方式首先带上一种与物品所带电荷极性相反的电荷的包覆物质喷洒到颗粒状物品上,此时因为包覆物质和物品之间存在的电位差,包覆物质就被吸引到物品上,从而获得均匀一致的包覆。
2.根据权利要求1的工艺,其特征在于,使穿过喷洒包覆物质区域(2)的物品穿过区域(4),通过回火、加热、干燥、冷却或凝固使表面层硬化。
3.根据权利要求1的工艺,其特征在于,在进行表面包覆之后,使物品穿过电中和区域(5),在其中中和剩余的电荷。
4.根据权利要求1的工艺,其特征在于,其中的喷嘴(3)为至少两个沿整个区域设置的大体为环状的喷嘴。
5.根据权利要求1-4中的任何一项的工艺,其特征在于,其中施加的表面涂层的厚度可以通过物品和涂敷物质之间的电位差来调节。
6.一种采用静电表面包覆方式对不接地的小自由落体物品进行包覆的设备,其特征在于,它至少包括一个大体为圆柱形状的区域(2),一个用于将物品向穿过大体上为圆柱形区域(2)的中心部分提供的装置(1),以及一个用来朝穿过中央圆柱形区域(2)的中心部分喷洒带有与物品上的电荷不同的电荷的包覆物质的喷嘴(3)。
7.根据权利要求6的一种设备,其特征在于,其中的设备还包括一个用来硬化涂敷在物品上的表面涂层的区域(4)。
8.根据权利要求6的设备,其特征在于,其中的设备还包括一个用来中和任何剩余电荷的区域(5)。
9.根据权利要求6-8中的任何一项的设备,其特征在于,其中的设备包括用来收集多余包覆物质的装置(6)。
