Abstract

Description
【技术领域】
本发明有关一种电连接器及其制造方法,尤其涉及一种电性连接芯片模块至电路板的电连接器及其制造方法。
【背景技术】
电连接器因电气性能稳定而广泛应用于电脑等电子领域中,用于连接芯片模块至电路板的组合式电连接器通常包括若干绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体中的导电端子。参照中国发明专利公告第CN103378492B号公开了一种电连接装置,所述电连接装置用于连接芯片模块,该电连接装置包括绝缘本体及固定于所述绝缘本体的若干导电端子,其绝缘本体设有固定接地端子的固持槽,所述固持槽设有内壁,所述内壁上镀有金属层,所述接地端子与所述金属层接触,所述接地端子设有收容在所述固持槽内的固持部。然而,其仅在接地端子的固持槽内设置金属层,在所述接地端子的固持槽内镀金属层时需要将信号端子槽堵住以免信号端子槽也镀上了金属层,当镀完金属层后,再将所述信号端子槽内的堵塞物取出,其过程较为复杂而且容易导致信号端子槽遭受污染而导致较差的信号传输效果。
因此,确有必要提供一种新的技术方案,以克服上述缺陷。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于提供接地效果佳的电连接器及其制造方法。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,用于电性连接芯片模块与电路板,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的若干导电端子,所述若干导电端子包括信号端子及接地端子,所述绝缘本体定义有相反的对接面与安装面,所述绝缘本体设有贯穿所述对接面与安装面的信号端子槽及接地端子槽,每一所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽由位于所述对接面与安装面之间的内壁面围设形成,所述信号端子与接地端子分别一一收容在所述信号端子槽与接地端子槽内,所述绝缘本体的对接面、安装面以及每一信号端子槽及接地端子槽的内壁面均镀有金属层,所述绝缘本体的对接面及安装面上的金属层被断开而使得每一信号端子槽避免有接地功能。
进一步地,所述绝缘本体设有位于安装面与对接面之间并位于所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽之外的外壁面,所述外侧壁面镀有金属层。
进一步地,所述对接面及安装面的金属层在围绕每一所述信号端子槽的四周形成一隔开槽,使得信号端子与所述接地端子彼此不相连。
进一步地,相邻近的两个所述信号端子槽外围的隔开槽彼此连通。
进一步地,位于所述隔开槽及信号端子槽之外的金属层构成一个整体的接地层,其与所有接地端子接触而实现接地,所述接地层包括镀在所述绝缘本体的顶面、底面、所有接地端子槽内壁面及绝缘本体外壁面的金属层。
进一步地,所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽分别包括容纳对应信号端子及接地端子的容纳槽及固持对应信号端子及接地端子并与对应容纳槽贯通的固持槽,所述固持槽及容纳槽内均镀有金属层。
进一步地,所述信号端子及接地端子均包括主体部、自主体部向上并向外弯折延伸的接触部、自所述主体部向下弯折延伸的焊接部及自主体部一侧延伸的固持部,所述信号端子及接地端子的固持部分别对应固持至所述固持槽内并与对应固持槽内的金属层接触进而形成电性连接,所述信号端子及接地端子的主体部分别对应容设于所述容纳槽内。
为实现上述目的,本发明还可以采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器的制造方法,包括:步骤一,提供一绝缘本体,所述绝缘本体定义有对接面、安装面及贯穿所述对接面与安装面的若干信号端子槽与接地端子槽,每一所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽由位于所述对接面与安装面之间的内壁面围设形成,所述绝缘本体设有位于安装面与对接面之间并位于所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽之外的外壁面;步骤二,将所述绝缘本体放入电镀液中,使整个绝缘本体镀上金属层;步骤三,在对接面及安装面上,将围绕信号端子槽的金属层去除而形成隔开槽,避免信号端子槽内的金属层接地;步骤四,提供若干信号端子及接地端子,将所述信号端子及接地端子分别对应组装至信号端子槽及接地端子槽。
进一步地,所述步骤三中,采用蚀刻或镭射的方式将所述金属层断开进而形成所述隔开槽。
进一步地,步骤二中,所述对接面、安装面、外壁面以及每一信号端子槽及接地端子槽的内壁面上均镀上金属层。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有如下有益效果:本发明将绝缘本体的顶面、底面及所有端子槽内均镀上金属层,并且将顶面及底面的信号端子处的金属层断开,便于制程且能够提升高频信号传输的屏蔽效果进而提升高频信号的传输性能,同时将所述绝缘本体整体放入电镀液里镀金属层,操作简单且不易导致污染。

【具体实施方式】
以下,将结合图1至图7介绍本发明电连接器及其制造方法的具体实施方式。本发明电连接器100用来电性连接芯片模块(未图示)与电路板(未图示),该电连接器100包括绝缘本体1、收容于绝缘本体1内的若干导电端子2、若干将导电端子2焊接到电路板的锡球3及镀设至所述绝缘本体1上的金属层4。
请重点参阅图1至图4所示,所述绝缘本体1由绝缘材料制成,其定义有相对设置的对接面11与安装面12。所述绝缘本体1设有贯穿所述对接面11与安装面12的信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14,每一所述信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14由位于所述对接面11与安装面12之间的内壁面15围设形成,所述绝缘本体1还设有位于安装面12与对接面11之间并位于所述信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14之外的外壁面16。
请重点参阅图3与图4所示,所述若干导电端子2包括信号端子21及接地端子22,所述信号端子21及接地端子22均包括主体部211、221、自主体部211、221向上并向外弯折延伸的接触部212、222、自所述主体部211、221向下弯折延伸的焊接部213、223及自主体部211、221一侧延伸的固持部214、224,图3仅标示了两个信号端子21,其对应信号端子21与接地端子22的数量视情况而配置,只要能够到达所需信号传输效果即可。所述信号端子21与接地端子22分别一一收容在所述信号端子槽13与接地端子槽14内,所述信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14分别包括容纳对应信号端子21及接地端子22的容纳槽131、141及固持对应信号端子21及接地端子22并与对应容纳槽131、141贯通的固持槽132、142,具体的,所述信号端子21及接地端子22的固持部214、224分别对应固持至所述固持槽132、142内,所述信号端子21及接地端子22的主体部211、221分别对应容设于所述容纳槽131、141内,所述固持槽132、142及容纳槽131、141内均镀有金属层4。
结合图5至图7,所述绝缘本体1的对接面11、安装面12、每一信号端子槽13与接地端子槽14的内壁面15及所述外壁面16均镀有金属层4。所述绝缘本体1的对接面11及安装面12上的部分金属层4被断开而使得每一信号端子槽13避免有接地功能。具体的,所述对接面11及安装面12的金属层4在围绕每一所述信号端子槽13的四周形成一隔开槽5使得信号端子21与所述接地端子22彼此不产生电性连接,相邻近的两个所述信号端子槽13外围的隔开槽5彼此连通,所述隔开槽5在本实施例中为一个矩形框,在其他实施例中所述隔开槽5的形状不限于矩形框,只要能够将所述信号端子槽13外的金属层与旁边接地端子22或其他信号端子21周围的金属层4间隔开来即可。重点参阅图5,可以看出分解出的金属层4包括位于所述绝缘本体1的对接面11与安装面12及所述信号端子槽13与接地端子槽14内的第一金属层41及位于绝缘本体外壁面16的第二金属层42,所述信号端子21及接地端子22的固持部214、224分别对应固持至所述固持槽132、142内并与对应固持槽132、142内的金属层4接触进而形成电性连接,位于所述隔开槽5及信号端子槽13之外的金属层4构成一个整体的接地层,其与所有接地端子22接触而实现接地,具体的,所述接地层包括镀在所述绝缘本体1的顶面、底面及所有接地端子槽14内壁面的第一金属层41及镀在所述绝缘本体1的外壁面16的第二金属层42。
所述电连接器100的制造方法如下:
步骤一,提供一绝缘本体1,所述绝缘本体1定义有对接面11、安装面12及贯穿所述对接面11与安装面12的若干信号端子槽13与接地端子槽14,每一所述信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14由位于所述对接面11与安装面12之间的内壁面15围设形成,所述绝缘本体1设有位于安装面12与对接面11之间并位于所述信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14之外的外壁面16;
步骤二,将所述绝缘本体1放入电镀液中,使整个绝缘本体1镀上金属层4,具体的,所述对接面11、安装面12、外壁面16以及每一信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14的内壁面15上均镀上金属层4;
步骤三,在对接面11及安装面12上,采用蚀刻或镭射的方式将围绕信号端子槽13的金属层4去除或断开而形成隔开槽5,相邻近的两个所述信号端子槽13外围的隔开槽5彼此连通,避免信号端子槽13内的金属层4接地;
步骤四,提供若干信号端子21及接地端子22,将所述信号端子21及接地端子22分别对应组装至信号端子槽13及接地端子槽14内。
藉此,绝缘本体1的对接面11、安装面12、外壁面16及所有信号端子槽13与接地端子槽14内均镀上金属层4,并将对接面11、安装面12的信号端子21处的金属层4断开以形成一隔开槽5,最终使得位于所述隔开槽5及信号端子槽13之外的金属层4构成一个整体的接地层以与接地端子22接触实现接地,由于该整体的接地层的设置,可以大大的提升所述电连接器100的信号端子21传输信号时的屏蔽效果,进而提升高频信号的传输性能以满足愈来愈多的高频信号传输需求,另外,由于将所述绝缘本体1整体放入电镀液里去镀金属层4的镀金属层的方式,使得所述电连接器100的制造过程变得更加简易的同时,还避免了单独在所述绝缘本体的接地端子槽镀设金属层时容易污染所述信号端子槽的不利情况,故而本发明电连接器100制造过程简单且能够满足高频传输需求。

Claims (9)
1.一种电连接器,用于电性连接芯片模块与电路板,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的若干导电端子,所述若干导电端子包括信号端子及接地端子,所述绝缘本体定义有相反的对接面与安装面,所述绝缘本体设有贯穿所述对接面与安装面的信号端子槽及接地端子槽,每一所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽由位于所述对接面与安装面之间的内壁面围设形成,所述信号端子与接地端子分别一一收容在所述信号端子槽与接地端子槽内;其特征在于:所述电连接器进一步包括一金属层,该金属层由所述绝缘本体整体放入一电镀液中制成,所述绝缘本体的对接面、安装面以及每一信号端子槽及接地端子槽的内壁面均镀有金属层,所述绝缘本体的对接面及安装面上的金属层被断开而使得每一信号端子槽避免有接地功能,所述对接面及安装面的金属层在围绕每一所述信号端子槽的四周形成一隔开槽,使得所述信号端子与所述接地端子彼此不相连。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有位于安装面与对接面之间并位于所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽之外的外壁面,所述外壁面镀有金属层。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:相邻近的两个所述信号端子槽外围的隔开槽彼此连通。
4.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:位于所述隔开槽及信号端子槽之外的金属层构成一个整体的接地层,其与所有接地端子接触而实现接地,所述接地层包括镀在所述绝缘本体的顶面、底面、所有接地端子槽内壁面及绝缘本体外壁面的金属层。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽分别包括容纳对应信号端子及接地端子的容纳槽及固持对应信号端子及接地端子并与对应容纳槽贯通的固持槽,所述固持槽及容纳槽内均镀有金属层。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述信号端子及接地端子均包括主体部、自主体部向上并向外弯折延伸的接触部、自所述主体部向下弯折延伸的焊接部及自主体部一侧延伸的固持部,所述信号端子及接地端子的固持部分别对应固持至所述固持槽内并与对应固持槽内的金属层接触进而形成电性连接,所述信号端子及接地端子的主体部分别对应容设于所述容纳槽内。
7.一种电连接器的制造方法,包括:
步骤一,提供一绝缘本体,所述绝缘本体定义有对接面、安装面及贯穿所述对接面与安装面的若干信号端子槽与接地端子槽,每一所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽由位于所述对接面与安装面之间的内壁面围设形成,所述绝缘本体设有位于安装面与对接面之间并位于所述信号端子槽及接地端子槽之外的外壁面;
步骤二,将所述绝缘本体放入电镀液中,使整个绝缘本体镀上金属层;
步骤三,在对接面及安装面上,将围绕信号端子槽的金属层去除而形成隔开槽,避免信号端子槽内的金属层接地,所述隔开槽形成于所述对接面及安装面的金属层在围绕每一所述信号端子槽的四周,使得所述信号端子与所述接地端子彼此不相连;
步骤四,提供若干信号端子及接地端子,将所述信号端子及接地端子分别对应组装至信号端子槽及接地端子槽。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于:所述步骤三中,采用蚀刻或镭射的方式将所述金属层断开进而形成所述隔开槽。
9.如权利要求7所述的电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于:步骤二中,所述对接面、安装面、外壁面以及每一信号端子槽及接地端子槽的内壁面上均镀上金属层。
